MotD 2, that hull fan doing the tiger. my kids would divorce me if I were caught doing that on camera.

is he not a mag ? sure he started something the other day about "short could easily spend 200mill as he has billions and hes a twat if he doesnt"
-
just that last one really when he hit the side netting. could've picked out one of three just inside the box but don't blame him taking it on from there.
-
No, 89 and I've counted twice to make sure. i'll believe you. this time.

how do we know, we know sod all coaches do, think brian kidd and micky phelan, carlos quiroz at man utd. seemed great when they were doing well but in reality we know nowt about how good caoches are. Well do you see any marked improvement? I seem to recall carver or stone saying "we need to kick it higher" or something along those lines. I'd put it out there that stone and carver are not top level coaches who are top level coaches, like I've said, phelan ? kidd ? we haven't got a clue who top level coaches are or what they do. was terry mac a great coach ?

Rest a few in the Cup, it's not a priority. i'd rest him for wednesday.

I can see 89 of those from my seat when they're showing them on the electronic boards around the pitch. 88

just thinking exactly the same re moussa. -
They haven't got a pot to p*ss in man. they also have a far superior youth set up and the club isn't run on the whims of a madman and instead with someone who actually thinks about what he's doing before he does it. agree about the youth set up, though I doubt it's for lack of cash. for all the whims of a madman etc we are very stable playing wise, manager long term, coaching staff, long term and for all the stuff about he'd sell his granny etc we don't in reality sell many first teamers.

Go on then, list the clubs in the Premiership who are bigger. When I say financial, no point having loads of money if the owner is not willing to invest to match fans ambition. Ashley's lack of ambition for the club is what hurts us most I'm not fussed about him not putting more of HIS money intio the club. I despise chelsea and man city for it. has his running of the club hindered the income that could be used to benefit the club ? possibly but not imo to the extent some would make out.

I find it hard to disagree with any of those points considering what a circus the club is off the field That's smoke and mirrors. The money somebody has had to spend matters not one bit as we've got some very good players who we've brought in on the cheap. If spending money was all that you have to do, Souness wouldn't have been sacked here after spending something like £50 million. Our youth system has been here since long before Pardew turned up so he's had over 3 years to do something with it and so far we've seen nothing, how does that work in his favour? Pardew was under pressure at the start of the season and rightly so after the s**** he served up last year. not really smoke and mirrors its reality of nufc the club is an utter shambles in every department but on the pitch. The amount of money spent you make is valid but the fact is we spent nothing at all in the summer and don't look likely to this window either and thats an issue for any manager when your basically standing still. The youth system requires attention and expertise which the manager can only go so far in getting it requires a real will to improve it from board level which is non existent. ITK ?

Are you being critical just for the sake of it? We played well today and deserve credit for doing so. We didn't play well at all. A narrow 1-0 defeat to a set-piece goal at home to the team of the season may well read good, but in reality we were poor. We offered little goal threat, played too many long balls and were one paced playing at a low tempo. We contained them well enough but at the expense of getting at them. we did play well, after they blew themselves out we matched them, probably even created the better chances. your bias is getting terrible. I'm voting for you for best non nufc fan in the awards. Did we f*** play well. Playing well was us vs Palace, or us vs Chelsea. This was us playing containment football, the typical Pardew approach. Our best chance came from the face of Remy who chased down a back-pass that their 'keeper made a right balls of clearing. We didn't test their 'keeper once. The last 20 minutes were an eye-sore, players all over the place forcing play or aiming it long to that lump Shola. ask mick v chelsea and you'll see how views differ. after they blew themselves out we went toe to toe with quite possibly the best team so far this season. the last 20mins, watch how many teams this season have arsenal so far back and punting it anywhere. containment football ? first 15 aye, right to aswell knowing how arsenal come at you (even sir bob done that) then it was very even with us, if n aything looking the better. Containment football for the entire match until they scored. We had a brief 10 minute spell in the first half and a bit of high pressing towards the final minutes in the first half which had them troubled but after the break it was all them until they scored. Then we started pushing them back but we didn't exactly threaten them. I was furious watching us lump it long or try to force the play, we had a good 10 minutes or so where some decent football and movement might have opened them up, but instead we aimed it long to Shola who did f*** all or wide to Hadiera who again did f*** all. Ben Arfa got into the box a few times but went for the glory and Santon sent in one or two decent crosses only for there to be n-one in the box. Speaking of Hadiera, why the f*** was he brought on? did they play containment football aswell considering how much krul had to do ? I don't give a f*** about Arsenal or their play. All I know is that we went into a home game on the back of a big win full of confidence with two defensive midfielders and Remy up top on his own and for large parts of the game we did f*** all save a few one-off moments, until we went a goal behind. And even then we didn't create anything, we just hot it long in vain hope or played it wide for crosses even though we only ever had one or two bodies in the box anyway. We played well in that we didn't get ripped a new one. We played well in that we restricted the team of the season to few chances and we played well defensively but attacking wise we were as poor as any of our poor periods this season. Tactically Pardew got it wrong, at the start and when he made changes. With a 5 man midfield we were still out-numbered by arsenal who passed through us time and time again only to be confronted with our well marshalled wall at the back, that and the usual Arsenal fannying on playing one pass to many or being afraid to shoot. When we did get on the ball we didn't do much with it. play fair htt, if we get beat, no matter what he done or who we played you'd say he got it wrong.

getting better and better.

But really before arsenal score we couldn't even get a touch of the ball, and doing nothing with it. serious ? we never got a touch before they scored ? f*** me rigid, this is frightening. You're a f***ing idiot. That's exactly what I meant. you're wrong but i'm the idiot ?

What, 8th? I don't disagree with you - with the exception of maybe Spurs, I think all the teams above us deserve to be above us. I want us to push on much, much further though. no no I mean we deseve to be up there, challenging for europe at least
