i've read a few times that greens injury would now be an op and and back in a month, anyone know if thats true /

i used to say when allardyce was at bolton that I'd like to see him mat a bigger club to see what hapens but I didn't want us to be the experiment. I never rated O'neill.
-
i've hit the point now where if we were to win a cup I'd rather be in newcastle than wherever the final was played.

defintly gold it. you didn't know vicky toon or northern monkey did you ? Oooh you missed a treat.

on the theme of the difference between pros and us, a mate who was very good was having a trial for blue star (he was offered terms bit our employers wouldn't gurantee him saturdays off) when they were good, they played middlesborigh youth team and he says they were just murdered, quicker and smoother doing the basics, it wasn't playeres going on mazy dribbles past 5 or 6, they didn't risk it, all one and two touch stuff, pass and move. also I was at the eldon square when dn hutchinson played, i'd played earlier and the difference was amazing, he'd touch it once and take two or three out with no trickery, just knowing where to put the ball and being able to do it. I wont slag off lower league footballers as I know they are still damn good.

best team in black and white stripes in the premiership best away strip (the brazil effort)

i'll go 2 in (one first 11 forward, one kid who will never be heard of again), 2 out but not anyone we'd ber bothered about.

when you say "we" do you mean NUFC, newcastle online or your family, maybe even just you and your lass ?

Was the director who looked at him called Fenton Braithwaite? His name rings a bell for some reason. had a reputation for resetting broken noses in the dressing room.
-
and sissoko looked shot last game.
-
stuff the graphs and stats. he had a couple of poor games and he's not someone who is even nuisance value off the ball. we know he is a complex character and I guess that he was performing in training like he was in those games.

which keepers are good at kicking ? it's like keepers commanding their box from corners etc, it just doesn;t happen now. david james was the last keeper I remember with good distribution but clubs got wise to that.

first 15-20 definitely, after that gouffran did try to support remy or take that spot if remy went wide but in a very tight game getting any sort of space is precious.
-
if you rate him as the best player in the world, ever, then you're right. if you think he was very good quality, high class international forward who scores goals in any company then I don't think thats going over the top at all. however I do think he is at the start of a very rapid decline.

tbf some of tiotes shots could tachnically be called, balls out wide into space.

it's nufc. silly season is all year round.
-
is the favourable home element balanced out by the unfavourable away element ?
-
i'm not sure he's one of those players that learns, it's all natural. all a manager can do with him is try to give him confidence and fit him into a team. not as easy done as said.
-
i'm sure he is/was on the pools panel.

over a season that would be a relegation fight.

TRC......The Redandwhite Cunt. now it all makes sense.

I guess we just have different expectations of him. possibly, not too far apart though, we both know how good he is. sean's an angry bugger though.

Was just about to post the same, didn't even realise half those players were there. Their squad is miles better than the one we came up with. who out of that squad would be likely to get a regular start in the premier league ?
-
He wasn't as bad as the rest, he just wasn't as effective against 11 as he was against 9. he was mick and his lack of movement off the ball was part of the problem. I'd start him on wednesday though.
