is that a signing or about your lunch making talent ? He didn't "make" it man, keep up. I am actually pretty interested to see if there's a sandwich out of shot. Would be the highlight of my day. should have put the making bit in quote marks but i don't bother with capital letters so what the hell.

Saw him on that video channel which can't be mentioned. Looks quick and has a cracking left foot. he was on youporn ?

I'll tell you what, why don't you try sitting in the freezing cold watching the manager throw the game, do that and I might take you seriously. any mileage in that Mick? I could beleive he was trying to wake the ownership up. if so he's done it all season.

can't really see the problem, his awareness when on the ball seems very good, especially when laying it off. as for offsides he's about par for the course for a forward playing off the shoulder. on a side note i think the time is coming when some players will deliberatly stray off side to push the defence up in the expectation of a team mate using that to run in behind them.
-
they'll try but they won't shift him if it isn't a good deal for us, meanwhile it would make for a hell of a squad.

quite often the early shot catches the keeper out. he's practically a one in two striker throughout his career. he nneds to just keep on getting into the positions and getting decent contact on the ball and the goals will come. strikers have days like he did on saturday and the main thing was that he still gets the chances after being played out of position for so long. if he misses chances like saturday over a few weeks then it may be time to worry about him.

I am a bit worried about this too. It will eventually become a weakness if only French players will join us. Clique-forming at some level is inevitable once you go beyond a certain number. If we end up signing all of Gouffran, Mbiwa, and Sissoko, it is even reasonable to expect that English be the primary language on the training ground anymore? Pardew has said they all have to speak in English whilst at training. That will obviously be the cast policy-wise, but once the French players start outnumbering the non-French ones you have to wonder how easy that would be to enforce. Yeah I totally see where you are coming from with that. Just wanted to point out that Pardew has already addressed it as it has been pointed out as a concern by the media. I can see it becoming a point of principle even more if we had more French players or a French manager, because even a little bit of French on the training ground would be enough to get the English and others worried. Arsenal were very strict on it when all their Frenchies came in under Wenger. you'd think they'd speak the language that is most common to them all, which is most likely to be english, as opposed to the primary language which is most popular .

thats if he hasn't flown into london from the south of france, then he could be on a flight from there (to arsenals training centre or wherever)
-
Track every flight live here. http://www.flightradar24.com cracking site that, cheers, but how reliable is it, it currently has UAL 935 heading over the western isles from houston george bush airport to las vegas
-
1045 flight from paris due in at 1230 , will he be on it ?. alternatively if her's flown from the south of france into london there are flights from gatwick landing at 1120 (could be here already) and heathrow landing at 1134.

someone ought to start a "who would you go for" type thread.

Krul Debuchy Taylor Colo Santon Cabaye Tiote Anita Ben arfa Marveaux Cisse.
-
playing up front on his own yesterday he should have had a first half hat trick. he doen't need support, he needs service. stick him up front with ben arfa and marveaux to play behind him.
-
And a new manager is suddenly going to sign quality players for 3m quid andkeep the few we have , what is it like on that planet you inhabit i'd doubt many other managers with the squad we have at our disposal would have had shola playing yesterday, let alone a shola supposedly playing on the right. i reckon out the 48,000 or so newcastle fans in the ground, none would have came up with that formation or personnel.

i can see more teams doing this. wasn't there some study done recently about the number of goals scored from corners in the top euro divisions, champs league and europa and the number was very low, certainly not a high enough chance to get the crowd going the way it usually does.
-
I could honestly see this appearing before him planning multiple routines to actually give opponents something to think about. thing is, on the few occasions we have looked to try something different we have looked more dangerous.
-
perch more to the middle, he needs to watch our full backs so he can drop a bit deeper is need be if the full backs push on.
-
at one point in the first half from just inside their half he plays a ball down the channel for cisse but going away from goal, cisse sets off and is in front of his marker, does shola get frward either to the box or to wide to support the man with the ball, no he walks forward, slowly and toward a reading player who had passed him with everyone around me screaming at him to get forward. he's just not physically up to it, hasn't enough football nouse beyond a little cut inside when in the box and i've never known a player get fouled so much for so little off the referees. (the last bit inside his fault but it all counts against the team) aye thats the one - just ridiculous nhot just where i was that picked up on it, maybe just the dugout view thats obscured for that sort of thing.
-
wouldn't have thought anyone would think it was the players getting the grief.

I think apart from Marv not doing much second half, Perch came on in response to Le Fondre warming up as he has came off the bench and scored a few times recently. So he swapped an attacking midfielder for a defensive as they were preparing to bring on another striker and go for it. So by them going for it, if was a betting man I would bet we had more chance of hanging onto a 1 goal lead than out scoring them with Ameobi and Cisse as attacking threats, similar to what happened to 8th place WBA last week. Le Fondre is not a bad player he scored both goals in there victory over Everton this season, scored and earned a draw at Stoke, scored when they nearly drew with Man Utd, scored against Arsenal, scored twice against Crawley and once last week when they did the same to WBA. I knew it myself when I see him come on we were in trouble. I mean who hasn`t scored past our defence and who has Ameobi and Cisse scored against this season ? Again don`t take this as me saying I wouldn`t welcome a better manager but sometimes there is a reason behind peoples logic that isn`t just down to them being a crap manager. We are at home and worried about Le Fondre coming on so we remove one of our best m/f players ? Do you think KK would have done that ? No - he would have let Reading worry about us.... could understand perch coming on, i'd have had him on from the start, it was not taking shola off/starting him in the first place that was the probelm as well as starting jonas.

Fact is, had Keegan not resigned, we would almost certainly been one of the big 4. he resigned because we didn't have the money for him to carry on the way he wanted. Being in the champions league every season would have funded his spending it didn't. we got into the champs league and it didn't fund much.
