Nikes new regionalised ad campaign underway, missing an M off the end though.

I'm sure Melchester Rovers done it once. Made a huge signing, kept it quiet until the team was announced to huge speech bubbled gasps from the crowd (that was when the team was announced at about 10 to kick off) I think it was Supermac or Trevor Francis, someone like that.

Greggs breakfast deal ?

Limiting registrations is another possibility.

It happens regularly enough.

On the back of possibly beating 2 of the probable bottom 6 ? Im pleased the mackems I know laugh at RTG as much as we do.

But most know it won't be every season or maybe even half way through a contract but more. Liverpool made Salah and Van Dick wait until their contracts were nearly done. Has Mac Allister got a new contract as he has 3 yrs left ?
-
Do we up it in a seasons time if he has another good season ?

Doesn't it really just enable the hoover club ? See also masses of add ons and sell ons.
-
Hence the bluff and bravado.

Would you tell someone who much you wanted for something if you weren't a particularly willing seller or didn't want to appear as a willing seller ? Its more like "how much do you want for x ?"......"make me an offer". Add in sellers may want to use tge time frame to squeeze the maximum from any sale. There's a lot of bluff and bravado going on.

I know there'll be some anti-Isak chants and there'll be some mention of Liverpool slums but I hope there will also be some noise about Masters and the Premier league leadership. It seems some are now putting their heads above the parapet with regards the governance. Its time to make noise about it and bring it to the fore.

I mean its the dream of the American owners over here. You knew that you defensive yank you.

The American dream.

Is there any explanation in the article as to why theyd rather sell to Spurs ?
-
Most clubs arent selling to us because their players are choosing seemingly better offers.

The difference as I see it is the person who made the promise to Wissa is still there, the person who made a promise to Isak isn't.

It's got nowt to do with his previous price (especially as that was based on his earlier loan agreement from 2024/25), Wolves really signed him last season like us with Lewis Hall. Given his level and our need, see if they sniff at 55mill.
