sorry thought you were talking bout colo, enrique and jonas as you were earlier.

That's probably the case. However I'd say for example Africans, Asians and Australians would also favour country over club while Europeans and possibly South Americans would go with clubs. The reason you mentioned would explain this to be honest. If I was forced to give an answer to this question, I'd probably end up saying Newcastle because it's what I invest the most money, time and passion into. However what I don't understand is when people are proud to say club over country, where they're happy to disregard their nationality because of local pride. This seems to be quite a common trend, and I think it's sad. because africa ,asia and australians dont have as much at stake ie a big league at stake. i'd guess the scandos would probably rather have their nation win the world cup than their club win their domestic tea cup..........except kasper who'd rather his country beat their horrific suicide rate.

how were they dropping like flies ? i don't remember any suggestion that any of them would leave.

its insane. Went there to interview Dean Windass. There's a lift in the reception. It only goes up one floor to what was an apartment (now just a generic corporate area). When build, George Reynolds intended to live in it. Its also unbelievably tacky, loads of gold covered stuff all over the place, a ridiculous grandfather clock, tiled floors, the lot. i but who woudn't want to have a flat in the stadium of the team they support ? was there loads of hairclips all over the floor ? we had a curry at christmas on a table next to george and his disciples, whilst he was surprisingly a canny bloke his acolytes were most annoying. espesh the so alled PA who gave the impression of letting her arse be squeezed for a small trinket

Up yours, the other post was made when it looked like Colo, Enrique and Jonas could all be leaving. can't remember any bids for any of them, we had a pretty settled squad going into the start of the season.
-
Earned with a squad they can't pay for or sustain? Unfair advantage, is it not? i take this line.

Carling Cup, every time. England are only there to fill in the gaps every other summer (apart from the summer of 08 though). Though I would rather England win trophies ahead of every other nation. Carling Cup is bloody tinpot though. Chances are it will be gone in a few years anyway. So, I'd rather see Newcastle win something then England win something, club ahead of country. We're the only country on the planet that puts clubs before our own country I'm inclined to agree, but it's sad I think. i'll bet you'll find many people abroad who'll put their domestic teams fortunes before their national teams ?

still still still hate that club.
-
err............ take my word for it then.

bounced straight back up last time with brian little, can't see it this time. as mentioned before i'd be tempted to go the the gas heed/ darlo derby if the heed stay up.

The Irish don't do midweek league games live on SKY. The rest of Scotland not willing to travel to Glasgow for midweek game live on SKY. The Glasgow totally pissed off after getting beat by Ross County, being s*** in the league & having a ginger in charge. Celtic like ourselves saw a increase in average crowds from the mid 90's. Sky & cheap flights being the main reason for them. 1946-47 19,860 1947-48 21,000 1948-49 37,205 1949-50 29,867 1950-51 28,768 1951-52 29,568 1952-53 23,933 1953-54 28,067 1954-55 30,654 1955-56 21,467 1956-57 17,706 1957-58 18,384 1958-59 18,411 1959-60 20,588 1960-61 19,324 1961-62 25,332 1962-63 24,643 1963-64 19,800 1964-65 18,284 1965-66 24,102 1966-67 31,082 1967-68 31,373 1968-69 34,740 1969-70 33,188 1970-71 29,647 1971-72 31,241 1972-73 26,606 1973-74 24,762 1974-75 22,775 1975-76 28,066 1976-77 28,063 1977-78 29,568 1978-79 25,303 1979-80 28,499 1980-81 22,836 1981-82 22,718 1982-83 23,740 1983-84 18,390 1984-85 20,827 1985-86 25,335 1986-87 25,311 1987-88 33,199 1988-89 31,713 1989-90 28,616 1990-91 29,012 1991-92 25,086 1992-93 22,684 1993-94 22,637 1994-95 24,601 1995-96 34,342 1996-97 47,504 1997-98 48,532 1998-99 59,271 1999-2000 53,887 2000-01 59,370 2001-02 58,587 2002-03 57,614 2003-04 58,516 2004-05 57,800 2005-06 58,149 2006-07 57,927 2007-08 56,677 do the same for us, the mackems,man utd ,liverpool etc and it would all be quite similar. football has grown massivly in the sky years....................................and there's folk that say the press and advertising cant influence them.
-
i would trade england winning the world cup for a guaranteed 3 nice days during my summer hols.
-
i thought she'd split with len............... oh now i get you.
-
See I would hesitate, and there lies the problem. I like Harper but the agility seems to be going in addition to the handling. We won't score many goals next season, keeping them out is paramount. we could have given back in top form and a decent defence but with shit in front of it we'll still be porous. the sooner people learn to look at a team defending instead of just the keeper and back 4 the better.
-
Aye, might have been Can't keep track of all the Icelandish....what do you call people from Iceland? cold
-
neither did i. point at home park good enough but as with the way promotion came about we may not need to kick another ball.
-
BBC Radio Newcastle said they'd got in contact with the club about when it was likely they'd get the trophy, but the only response was that it would probably be up to the Football League. You just know though that the Football League and Sky will collaborate in their evil ways to try and get it presented on Monday (should it happen! - don't want to jinx it!) sure i read somewhere that all the football leagues trophies would be presented on the final day regardless of when they were actually won. might be wrang like.
-
and you'd expect him to say "yes well even before this season's is over i'll announce to all that we'll let best go in the summer"
-
Copying that, making sure it won't come in. You're welcome. very low risk..............till you came in.
-
bad day but overall outweighed by some consistent small wins over the past few weeks, which is really what i'm aiming for. ajax/rosenborg/anderlecht/barce tomorrow.
-
Thought you copied? you know at school there was always one kid who couldn't even copy off others correctly ?
