  1. Medicals aren't about assessing injuries but finding out about long term medical problems. Ba's knee is clearly a cause for concern since he's failed medicals at Stuttgart and Stoke over the past two years.
  2. Is this guy real? Seems shady. Doesn't look like it
  3. My guess is that Ranger's transfer listing was more to do with his attitude than anything else, so I don't think it'll be Ferguson, Vuckic or any of the other young lads who recently signed new deals. Lua Lua is the obvious one, given that he has said he wants to go back to Brighton.
  4. Go on then http://i55.tinypic.com/10giedv.jpg Takuma Sato needs to up his fucking game. He's giving ex-F1 drivers a bad name getting his arse handed to him by those yank cunts.
  5. Ditto. I haven't really followed Warnock much but if he was any good Liverpool wouldn't be trying to buy Enrique. I didn't know Liverpool bought players on the basis of how shit Aston Villa's squad is.
  6. Gyan to Stoke according to tomorrow's Mirror.
  7. It's probably Ba. If we've agreed terms with him already we may use the Nolan fee to fuck his agent off.
  8. The minute Boro reverted to youth (and brought in a manager who wasn't a grumpy scotch twat) their form picked up. I could see them challenging next season.
  9. It's like they looked at what Boro did when they went down and went "you know what, they didn't spend enough"
  10. That's weird. God knows what sweetner the gynormously headed one and his crooked son have offered him under the table. The rumour is £50k p/w basic salary with add ons that could take it up to around £70k p/w. Don't believe that for one second. Ridiculous if true. I thought the same when I heard it initially, but there are quite a few stories going around about the dildo twins dipping into their own pockets to try and bounce straight back up. Apparently they offered Demba Ba £50k p/w and a £500,000 bonus if he signed a new deal with them. Fat Sam is also on a very lucrative wage too, more than many managers in the top flight.

  12. And? He still had two years to go on his current deal. There was no need to do anything until next Summer at least. I agree completely, although I'd be very surprised if Nolan's agent wasn't sounding out alternative deals elsewhere once talks broke down. We can't put a gun to a players head and force them out, just look at Smith.
  13. The club were always going to come out of this situation looking the bad guys and I've no doubt they could've done more but Nolan has just asked for a 5 year extension to his deal
  14. Neither the club or the player will come out of this well if it is true. It speaks volumes about our policy of cutting players loose the minute they become too big in the dressing room but it also does Nolan no favours if he's willing to drop down a league for one last big pay day. I'll believe it when I see it mind.
  15. Redknapp is much more brazen about it when tapping up players. Sounds like tricks from Gyan & his agent.
  16. Did you know that Rupert Murdoch has a Newcastle United bedspread and the words to Blaydon Races tattooed down his shaft?
  17. I blame the 'Geordie Mafia' that run the media/Sunderland City Council/the UK Parliament
  18. It works. I've stayed at wor lasses for the past few days, completely avoiding transfer news apart from the odd peak on here when I'm at graft and I'm so laid back compared to a week or two ago.
  19. Anyone else noticed that the bookies odds for next seasons Premier League winners on RTG place us ahead of them?
  20. http://theducks.org/pictures/do-not-want-dog.jpg
  21. The Melvut Erding thread is a cracker. About a dozen replies before one of them launches into the "Mag at work" bullshit
  22. Expect a 6pm unveiling online and annoucement on SSN.
  23. I assume you've never seen the headlines on .co.uk?
