  1. http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/268/b/a/yes_gif_by_kimminjung-d4avb4j.gif I love Shola. He's on next to nothing and he's a huge influence in the dressing room. Why not have him hang around as an extra body for a few more years? The man should end his career here.
  2. Were they going for a kerry?
  3. There's something not right here. http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/9359/mackematics.png
  4. Luke Edwards comes across as someone as actively loathes NUFC when he writes about us. He's a mag though. Definitely This reminds me of when we published our accounts for the year we came back up and we'd made a £3 million loss before you'd factored in the sale of Carroll. To the rest of the world we'd more or less broke even, a fantastic achievement, but on RTG we were on the verge of bankruptcy. £27m loss. Not bad.
  5. Invest in Africa was never as much as the £20m claimed. That fee was a best case scenario based on other organisations becoming partners.
  6. Thing is their parents would've probably been involved in similar or worse 20/30 years ago. Kids getting pissed and causing trouble isn't a new phenomenon in football. That's not to excuse what they got up to.
  7. Speaks volumes that on one or two of the photos there's a bloke wearing a novelty Guinness hat to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Absolute wands.
  8. No mention of the best away kit we've had since the brown and blue hoops? http://esellution.co.uk/media/shirtmasters/products/8370/tS27avktCa.jpg Clicked the minute you put it over your head but good God was it sexy.
  9. Calm down, man. The Wonga deal is four year. Plenty of time. I imagine there'll be barriers to doing anything in the immediate future as Virgin are still our sponsors. Expect everything mentioned in the press release to really kick off next season.
  10. I'm not. I saw him f***ing do it. Back injuries can be very difficult to confirm by medical examination. It's an old trick for agents to advise players who want to leave to say they've got a back injury. So his agent went "I'll tell you what Colo, do a f***ing wicked overhead kick near the corner flag against Southampton and we'll say you've knacked your back"? I somehow doubt it. I'd also like to think the club and its doctors have enough of a grip on this newfangled x-ray technology to see if he has actually broken his back. It's conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory on here sometimes. Exactly, the club have come out and said 'he has broken 2 bones in his back' ... I'm sure they checked for themselves Unless they're in on the conspiracy Honestly, I wouldn't be that surprised. Can see the club and him having come to an agreement that he is allowed to return to Argentina, but the club pays him less, as we feel confident in Taylor and Yanga-Mbiwa. That is also the reason why we've been given such a vague return date for Colo, "3-8 weeks" or something like that, wasn't it? Should Taylor break again, we'll tell Colo to get his arse back here. Obviously completely baseless speculation, and I realise I sound like Parky, but I wouldn't be hugely surprised if that was the case. Why would the club pay him anything in that case? Why would the club allow him to do such a thing when we're battling near the bottom of the table knowing fine well if they put their foot down he'd probably make himself available, unless Ashley values Colo's happiness over his investment? Why be so accommodating and go the extra mile to do all these things when they know he'll be on his way out in the summer for what I imagine will be much less than his market value? None of these suggestions make any sense on any level, man
  11. Cabaye didn't comment on Debuchy's injury either. Are they having a lovers tiff or are you just being presumptuous?

  13. In Ronaldo's world clubs obviously support their ccaptains and highest paid players when they agitate for moves away for nee reason.
  14. You and me both, mate I don't even care about the result. Losing at Wigan is what we do. But the nature of the defeat, the absolutely awful refereeing, that sticks in your throat.
  15. Saying "he got the ball" is a complete crock of shit argument. Getting the ball doesn't make it a good challenge, particularly if you only got the faintest of touches on the ball by diving into the tackle in a way which was always going to result in injury. If he was in a position to actually get control of the ball then fair enough, but it was always a hopeful lunge which was going to result in serious injury if he made any contact at all with Haidara.
  16. Maybe Whelan could've just said "It was a bad tackle, we hope that lad makes a speedy recovery", since I imagine that's what a normal human being would do.
  17. Didn't Anichebe take us to court when Nolan did him? I hope we do the same with Wigan.
  18. http://i.imgur.com/yhEANTA.jpg What a lad!
  19. Especially when he combines it with some absolutely ridiculous step over/Cryuff turn. We've signed a player here lads. A proper, proper player.
  20. I play on a 3G pitch every week and it hurts my knees just as much as when I play on grass, so there's no difference there! I think there's a lot of shite talked about plastic pitches because every cunt in the media thinks they're going to be like Kenilworth Road.
  21. I'm sure it's a 'risk' most of the posters on here were going wild about at the time. Every fucker is wise after the event. Lets give the club the benefit of the doubt.
