  1. Saving face for their mate IMO Probably just trying to kick start some excitement during what has been a thoroughly tedious transfer window so far. Have you seen that the shameless pack of cunts are advertising fucking transfer deadline day? I hope Jim White's head falls off live on air.
  2. I don't think he's had an overwhelming number of stinkers, but he's played well below what we know he's capable of. He's been pretty average. His consistency or lack of it is one of the most infuriating parts of his game, because when he's on form he's capable of taking the game by the scruff of the neck and stopping the very best teams from playing (Man United at home last season being a perfect example. I don't think Rooney touched the ball once) which turns us into a completely different beast.
  3. I think it's a decent indication of how the players viewed the transfer activity in the summer. Seems clear to me that they believe this season has been negatively affected by it. My only hope is that the club learn from it. Fingers crossed.
  4. I wonder how they'll feel when red and blue signs are plastered all over the fucking ground.
  5. Cheers. It's actually quite heartening to hear him say that he'll press the club on their ambition.
  6. Thing is though in his first season he would often receive the ball when under extreme pressure, but seemed to have the skill and awareness to turn out of those situations and find himself some space which is what made him such a brilliant player. Now, if anything, he does the complete opposite.
  7. Est-ce que Nile Ranger odeur sale comme il a l'air? #LECLUB
  8. Phillip Schofield est un froid, implacable machine à tuer qui doit être arrêté à tout prix. Discutez-en #LECLUB
  9. Voulez-vous acheter mon petit enfant? #LECLUB
  10. He was quite good a few years ago if I remember right. West Ham and a few other clubs wanted him, then he decided to chase the cash and fucked off to the Middle East. The Mackems are stumping up all of his wages apparently, which should be about £80k.
  11. BUT THAT'S HOW THINGS STARTED WITH DEMBA! WHERE IS HE NOW! Chelsea.
  12. He's a PSG supporter. If someone asks "would you like to play for PSG?" he's obviously going to say yes.
  13. I don't think Sissoko and his agent would go in for a move this window given the astronomical fees associated with free transfers.
  14. It could happen, but while he's conkers deep in a local lass we can hope she'll keep him here.
  15. They've seen San Lorenzo have a go and are clearly thinking "fuck it, why not?"
  16. Until he fails his medical then it'll be "lol they've missed out there lyk FTM"
  17. Loic is a nickname. His first name is Leeroy, which we can all agree is much cooler.
  18. He couldn't get in the bathroom? Where's he been pooing for the last few months?
  19. Rod Liddle beat his pregnant girlfriend and got caught posting racist abuse on a Millwall forum. Enough said.
  20. We do tend to ascertain whether a player is interested and whether we can meet their demands fairly early on in negotiations so I'd be surprised if we weren't very close to agreeing terms. The medical could be a stumbling block if our doctors have a different view on his dicky heart.
  21. Sounds about as far along the process as we got to with Modric. /not to be negative or nuffin. Dennis Wise isn't involved in the deal this time, so hopefully we'll not manage to ruin this one.
  22. Here we go, many a slip and all that. Looking at the weather though this could be reminiscent of when we signed Tino and he turned up with a fur coat on looking like a black Audrey Hepburn http://nufc.com/advent2011/asprilla-fur-coat.jpg And this is the man who took fashion advice from John fucking Beresford. Look at him. He's so far ahead of his time that gear isn't even in fashion yet.
  23. Any reason as to why you're not overly fussed with this? Don't get him wrong. He's fussed an that, just not overly fussed. He would give one shit. But not two. He likes the idea of getting a striker in and stuff. But we could have done without one. No biggie. He's cool like the seed at the centre of a cucumber. No need to be a sarcy dick! I'm just a touch cynical because these signings are four months too late; they should have been bought to mount a CL challenge, as opposed to saving us from relegation. I'm more "about fucking time" than I am "hurray, well done the board". I'm also sceptical that he's as good a striker as the one we've just lost. However, that's in the past and I'm happy we've actively sought to replace Ba immediately, but i still see CB as a priority. I'll breathe easier when that situation is sorted. They have been, for next season, therefore they're seven months early. I'm a glass half full type of guy.
  24. Christ, how do you lose an entire dressing room? Has he tried going around the players houses? They might be there.
