So rather than having a team who was behind wanting to get the ball in play again quickly at the end for an exciting conclusion, we have the team that's the most knackered very slowly wandering over to retrieve the ball for a throw in to let their players jog in to position and have a bit of a breather, no matter what the scoreline or time left?

Let's hope this shit is sorted out by then http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/9578620/Strike-hits-Eurostar-services-to-Brussels.html

We're both talking about the guy who made the £135m purchase of a football club on a whim without carrying out due diligence, yeah?

Aye, UKPA or IPS. Ta
-
Aye, but I mean is place of issue the thing that's either IPS or UKPA? Or UK, England, Newcastle...
-
Is that a good idea? Hoping to put four applications in tomorrow, assuming there's tickets left. Also what does passport 'place of issue' mean? IPS or UKPA?

Shame, going from one business built on a solid foundation of child exploitation to another would have been good for the ground's brand cohesion.

Fucking hell, if he looks like Johnny Decker at 24, he's going to be a ringer for the Crypt Keeper when he retires

Thread on forum "GoalkeeperTalk" about Sondico gear on SportsDirect Can't find any official stuff about this deal they supposedly had in place.

LA Gear, complete with flashing boots for every player.

Don't think it's a foregone conclusion it'll be SD on the shirts by the way, but would be daft to discount it as something he simply wouldn't do.

Erm, I must have been away when Ashley "squeezed every penny he could out of the club as quickly as he could…. and then liquidated it" Seriously you can do better than that, surely I've actually been conclusively wrong about something in the past, keep looking I'm sure you'll find loads of comments to help your cause Maybe I said Obertan was decent at some point, trying searching for "Teasy Obertan", you sad cunt. Someone's a little tetchy today Even though it's completely unthinkable that we would end up with SD on our shirts instead of a paying sponsor, will you humour me and let me know if you think it would be acceptable if it did happen... Hypothetically? Also, how many years beyond Derek's prediction of - what was it, ten months? - do you think would pass with the 'placeholder' name up there before you might conceed that the people who rolled their eyes when we were told that was the purpose of becoming the Sports Direct Arena might have had a point?
-
I thought Teasy scoffing at people for having the ridiculous idea that Ashley would do something like this seemed a bit familiar... http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,62360.msg1847002.html#msg1847002

Companies aren't capable of imagining what a sign on a stadium would look like? Suppose you must be right, we probably wouldn't have had all these offers if it wasnt for the placeholder clearly demonstrating what sponsoring a stadium must be like.
-
He knows we hate it, so why put it on the stadium, on the season tickets, on the roof, in the tunnel around the 'Howay the Lads' sign... May well be something else, but people must have learned there lesson from all the other times we've said "Ashley wouldn't be that stupid."
-
Have the away kit sponsored by White's lemonade.
-
Well he was perfectly happy to replace about 80% of the hoardings from paying companies in the ground with freebies for Sports Direct.
-
Think we should start calling Man City just 'Manchester' instead, even when they're playing against Man Utd. I mean, everyone will know who we mean, they're champions after all.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/bbc-pundit-alan-shearer-wants-1353045 r/soccer on Reddit started a campaign yesterday to try and start a 'Shearer to Blackburn' rumour in the hopes it would take off and get Al off MOTD, although they don't seem sure themselves if it worked or if it's just a coincidence.
