Best side ever to come up from the second division.

Still love that touch to beat David Wheater.
-
Laughably good once again from Man City.

Ranieri reckons he's one of the best strikers in Europe.

Ace today by the looks of this.

Bonus points haven't been added yet have they? On the points page, if you click on each fixture down the bottom it tells you all the data from the game. The last one is the bonus points system scoring, you don't have to wait until they actually award them to see who's getting what (though there are occasionally some minor changes).

Mane got two assists and is below both Lovren and van Dijk on the bonus system. Wat.

This thread nicely sums up why we are where we are. There's very little incentive for Ashley to leave regardless, but between us we can't even muster the collective will to make a truly visible stand, not even for one match. Extremely easy for me to say having not had a season ticket for yonks (and only having had one for a few years), not being from the area etc etc, but this is why Ashley won't leave. He knows that ultimately we'll roll over, every single time. The famous dedication of Newcastle fans is our biggest weakness.

These are shit. 1-0 to Burnley.

Rondon's had literally one good game.

The Nations League is just a glorified friendly tournament, no harm in it at all.

The message about unity in the stadium helping the team may be the same, but Benitez has repeatedly acknowledged that our fans know what's going on behind the scenes; particularly when it comes to improving the squad and his contract situation. All those comments about how we're 'clever' and that we know what is holding the club back. That's the difference.
-
I notice he's been well aware of 'all the speculation about other clubs' via social media, which is weird considering he reckons he didn't know a thing about the same for his manager.

When you made this post, or where you're standing then? This is an important point of clarification.

Saw that stat earlier, certainly did not feel like they had more of the ball. They must have counted the 8 minutes or so when their player was down and they were passing a ball around. I'm sure I read on here that possession is measured by how many passes are made by each team rather than time in possession of the ball, which seems a weird metric. So I wouldn't say it's massively indicative of actual possession of the ball, it just means we made less passes in our possession. Yeah I read that too, but when I've checked it on Flashscores during a game it didn't seem to match up. From Flashscores now, total passes 827, 322 is 39% of that. Weird, maybe when it's live the data comes through at different rates. https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2018/nov/11/manchester-city-david-silva-sergio-aguero-manchester-united It seems to be done on total passes rather than completed passes, don't ask me why. It's definitely done that way though, a guy from Opta was on the Totally Football Show.

Be interesting to see how he performs given that he made a big thing about how they had such a connection and their principles on style of play was similar etc.

Hasn't done much recently and I thought the derby match would be pretty tight.

34. Bernardo Silva on my bench got 10. Pathetic.
-
First sub is Bernardo Silva. Barkley played 8 minutes. Absolutely f***ing w***.
-
VAR might have still decided Yoshida was interfering with play.

They didn't even show that Ritchie chance from the analysis on the highlights.
