  1. "Alright Andy I'll give you a few minutes just go out there and try not to embarass yourself" [17 seconds later]
  2. Agent Carroll to score the equalizer.
  3. Not going to impress Glenn with efforts like that, Dirk.
  4. How many years does Fwank have in the tank? Anything beyond this one?
  5. Cech, Ivanovic, Ramires, Mata, Meireles, Sturridge bin all the rest
  6. Chelsea slow, old and crap, feeling good about our chances.
  7. "You're not going to get a better deal anywhere else, Danny. You're not going to cut it at the teams above us in the league (in fact you already didn't once lol) and we pay more than anyone else you'd move to, so sign the fucking thing."
  8. What for? Genuine question. Genuinely don't see him as being £30m worth of essential to the team. £10m, maybe up to £15m. Wouldn't sell him then - and around there is where I figure his true value lies. I know the accepted wisdom is it's not getting reinvested in the team but the money has to go somewhere in the accounts? If a hefty chunk is going towards paying off the Ashley owed debt and/or making us self sufficient - both conditions making us more attractive to potential buyers - I'm hard pressed to disagree at that price. Will admit I haven't looked at last years financials yet, if they're even out.
  9. It wasn't a criticism, just an observation, so keep your hair on. Your post set off a musing, I wasn't arguing with you.
  10. What can "good" even mean in terms of saving penalties? One out of every five? Ten? They're the closest thing to outright awarding the other team a goal for a reason and "not saving too many penalties" is seriously the pettiest criticism of a keeper ever.
  11. 30m? Would. That makes me the devil but I like red suits and brimstone.
  12. August. It's been an unexpectedly swift and shocking decline. not really, it's been a slow and obvious decline for the past two years. slow, yes, but gave you the impression he could carry on with some level of dignity. that decline fell straight off a cliff this year though.
  13. August. It's been an unexpectedly swift and shocking decline.
  14. Good showing against one of the best teams in the world. 3-1 to them a little flattering because we by and large shot ourselves in the foot but there's no question they were going to dominate and in all likelihood win this game.
  15. Taylor's been fantastically poor today. Preaching to the choir but good god.
  16. City are f***ing ridiculous. Even if Ba's efforts had gone in and Ryan Taylor had two brain cells to rub together I always thought they'd put more past us.
