Isn't it during the summer next year? 20 July-18 August according to reliable internet sources of mine.

12 goals in 18 appearances is a decent return though? He has a good minutes/goals ratio and hardly plays, or finishes, every game and also gets used for 80th+ minute cameos. It was awesome. A straight up professional re-enactment of palnese's avatar

Agree with most of that STM except with Chelsea. I think they'll sell Torres in the summer (back to Madrid or PSG possibly?) and may be in for Ba as Drogba is, I think, gone in the summer too. Sturridge looks good and I wish we had been in for him but relying on him and Lukaku to deliver week in week out at this point would be mad.
-
Probably should include anyone sitting behind the front two tbh as it's "Attack" not just "forwards" imo.
-
If we're including HBA in NUFC's shouldn't we include Silva in City's (swap out tevez)? Aguero, Dzeko, Silva, Balotelli Hands down for me.

I thought it wasn't so much an on going injury thing as much as if he sustains certain injuries to his knee he is unlikely to recover the way most others would. I'm going off Pardews comments a while back about the club having to "manage his knees" (or something similar) which lead me to believe it's like - though obviously nowhere near as bad - Kings situation at Spurs.
-
Yeah I keep wondering though just how big a deal his knees really are if our own thrice-cursed medical staff can keep him operational. Those "big teams" might see it as much less of a gamble now. Who knows. Happy he's here, hope he stays.

After a couple of dodgy results a few weeks back. They didn't, like. If there's anything more to be read between the lines of the rhetorical question "Wasn't Hughton sacked after similar results" I'd be curious to know what it is. It was me who posted that. I was questioning the sacking of Hughton (again). Why would I want a mental decision to be repeated? If you can find a post where I said I thought Pardew should be sacked I'll be impressed, because there isn't one. I - and I think I'm not alone in this - read that in a sarcastic tone; as in why is Pardew getting a pass when Hughton was sacked for <whatever the form #'s were>, clearly Pardew should be on or near the chopping block. Questions stated like that are kind of open to more than just a literal interpretation on their own, especially when posted during a bad run of games. I'll try to interpret your posts without nuance or subtlety from now on edit: btw didn't remember that as you, actually ... fairly sure there was another.

Yeah, it's not been a freak. I think we've got enough in the team to repeat this kind of season (knock on wood)
-
Around where we belong. We haven't been below 7th all season - something to really think about. http://i.imgur.com/1a3S7.gif edit: I don't think this is necessarily an indicator of how shite the rest of the league is. The top half is as competitive as ever, Man Utd/City aside.

dunno I'd have him at RB behind Obertan up against Bale like. If Raylor's fit slot him back in at LB. harvest simpson for spare parts for Demba.

I get the feeling Pards is a lot more comfortable with the idea of Ben Arfa being on the pitch when one or both of Tiote/Cabaye is behind him for precisely that reason. Like you say he's capable of individual moments but he's going to shine with players who show for the ball and make space better than, with all due respect, guthrie and perchy.
-
I don't feel his "treatment" of HBA is malicious in any sense. Overly cautious maybe. With two subs off for injury already he might not have wanted to risk him in a game where villa were harrying and pressing hard? I dunno. I'm sure he has his reasons.

From a practical standpoint I'm more worried about distancing ourselves from liverpool than catching tottenham (we won't, imo). Spurs to thump them 8-0 please.

Probably thought he'd get more time at City before Hart became just immense. Yes it's such a shame that didn't work out for him.
