I really don't think it is. For us Shearer was never the best striker in the world. I feel Isak is the best striker in the world.

If we are fully fit next season, or have an average of 3 injuries per game rather than 11, there is a lot of players with not a lot of minutes. Especially in CM.

Yeah I think to have a chance we need Villa to win it, City and Arsenal to go through and then one of them to win the CL. Ideally Leverkusen lose next round.

Varane and Evans missing for Man U this weekend. They have a tricky game vs Bournemouth, would be a huge swing in our favour for 6th spot if they lose that.

I think CL will be locked in by then. So I'd want the same if I was a Spurs fan. I was more than happy for us to lose to Burnley on the last day of the season 2 years ago to relegate Leeds. I don't even know why but I wanted them down.

I find it very annoying I have to support these shit English teams so we get a higher chance at Europe. I want maximum pain to all British teams.

Yep, Waugh is canny. I very much doubt Caulkin could name more than 5 of the Spurs team we play at the weekend.

I think we were pretty much at our limit, and this also included an Ashley year which didnt do much. Problem is this is the first year where we have had 3 PIF years on the accounts which are all negative spend, so this year and next will be tough.

Still doesnt affect our current issue of needing sell before June 30th, and the rules still in play for next season. So 2 years until we have a bit of breathing space.

Yeah, hopefully not too much travel and the guys can relax after the Brentford game.....
