I'm in a similar boat, I only have 1 FT and have a Saka issue. I cant decide if I go Saka to Son or just let Gabriel fight for his life without Saliba and hold the transfer to make 2 moves next week.

Livra, Kelly and Burn can all play LB. I just think we need some ability in the final third, moving Bruno there would have been ideal he was great there the year we stayed up and has said its his preferred position.

Bruno is a top level 6, but hes even better advanced imo. All of our CMs best position is the 8, thats poor recruitment. Both of those fullbacks are playing but Lewis Hall was not worth the money at the time, investment was needed else where. Especially Hall when Livra can also play LB.

Only because our wings are clipped? Our policy has been pretty poor 60m on fullbacks for the future while not getting a true 6, two left wingers, no CB not moving players on when we should have, refusal to sign technical players. Its been a very poor across the board for a while.

Even though I don’t rate him, I think we have to let him have this season as there aren’t many replacements about right now.

Just look at the other players that have done this, its a year out now. I think the physicality and speed of the PL is so quick now you cant risk it. I dont think Mings has come back yet and he did it in the 5-1? Buendia was a year out too, Timber was ready in 9 months but still needed to get up to speed.

There is absolutely zero chance he comes back before Xmas.

It would be nice if they said what the mystery chip was so we could plan our chips at least.

If anything wait a week he has Southampton at home.

In the year we finished 4th I'm sure Trippier has the most key passes and most XA in the league. Without that hub we have nothing apart from bruno trying to pull the strings really. A team that needed technicians already we are/want to phase our main one out.

I think the problem for Livra is, people really under appreciated how good and unique Trippier is/was.

In terms of XGC we have the 4th worst defence. We have Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal coming up, I dont see any clean sheets in that. I wouldn't bother going for Hall for now I'd expect him to drop to 4.2 before he becomes a legit option.

Its always been this way though. There was always a Mid Sept, Mid Oct, Mid Nov international break apart from the Covid seasons.

Look I'm more than fine with that. Maybe we just need to cripple Everton and draw a line under this whole thing. We will get revenge on them for that Gravesen tackle at some point.

I think its funny how Everton fans wanted City to win this so badly, but they are the ones that could be completely crippled by it.
