Pretty much everything that happened after the Shaw tackle doesn't count once it was ruled a foul. Thought they used VAR well there and got it right. Shaw was dangerous but he got a good touch on the ball which means red would’ve been harsh IMO.

CBs are often terrible on those situations. Why not just let Wilson take the shot with his weaker foot and from a tight angle instead of a possible penalty and a 100% red card after being booked already?

That wasn’t nowhere near inside the area but VAR only showed the far away angle where it wasn’t so clear. People using the VAR fucking suck at their job.
