What a terrible appointment the absolute opposite of what Arsenal need in every sense. How can you say that?
-
Just saw this, stunning goal.
-
Very true. They can play counter attacking football in the "big games". Can't really create if the other team is sitting deep especially without Pogba.
-
People blaming VAR for correcting a situation that was caused entirely by an incompetent linesman is pretty fucking hilarious.
-
The same linesman raised his flag on another extremely tight call five minutes after the massive fuck up, boggled my mind.
-
Was clearly an accident.

Everyone is on TV Woosh.

Why you watching you hate the f***ers. Cos i feel like it. Fucking hypocrite This is class.

How do they work out the expected points? What's the metrics? They count how many points each team should have got from the match based on xG but I don't know the exact formula. For example, in us vs City we got 0.13 and City got 2.79 expected points.

https://understat.com/league/EPL Man U are 4th in expected points (and very close to Chelsea and Liverpool) so they've been very unlucky so far. Many think these stats are garbage but I don't think it's a coincidence that Poch and Emery are gone while Silva and OGS still have a job.

Chilwell incident is really interesting. If he doesn't jump Holgate kicks him very hard to the leg and there's arguably a foul despite no contact. Grinning while going down is fucking stupid though.

Last season's win: https://understat.com/match/9434 Yesterday's match https://understat.com/match/11777 Regular stats might seem similar but we really rode our luck yesterday according to xG. Didn't create a lot from open play in the win either but defended much better.

Fucking no way. You just know that will be made into an article by The Chronicle twitter page and be tweeted out 99999 times a day for the next few days Bottom of most attacking stats yet Jenas reckons we’re better going forward. How can Jenas watch that and make out it’s a more attacking approach. It's fucking ridiculous. XG for this one was 0.21-3.01 which normally results in a Man City win about 95-98% of the time. And still by far bottom in the league for xG(Expected goal chances created) not even close to the 2nd bottom side Crystal Palace To claim it’s better going forward/more exciting is just imagination. Means fuck all in truth, we are nice and calm in the table and have just back twice from behind to the Champions, credit where it’s due. You really think we are now better going forward than with Rafa?

What was great about it, we parked the bus at home for 90 mins. What's different this time? Erm, Man City and their form? That doesn't make any sense. He's asking why one was such a great performance and the other wasn't I believe. Not why someone would want us to win last season and not now. I may be wrong like but that's how I read it. Nah, it's clearly about being ecstatic 10 months ago but now City's goals were 'get in'.

Quickly checked the poster's name after reading this one.

He was absolutely miles from getting the ball like. Definite red if it wasnt called back IMO. The "foul" in midfield was soft but technically a foul But he was going for the ball in any case so it can't be a red and a penalty?
-
That's so fucked up. It's not a foul in the midfield and Courtois shouldn't be getting red in any case as he was going for the ball inside the penalty area.
