  1. Why have you always been so shit at football? Didn't realise this would be your first time qualifying Everybody plays ice hockey.
  2. Class from Kean but Walcott.
  3. Shelvey's Hollywood balls are amazing when they come off but no one in the league surrenders possession as much as he does. He has an amazing technical ability but his decision making is often woeful.
  4. He put the prices up because he knows he can, yes. Because he knows fans will pay it. Having said that the ticket revenue is a drop in the ocean though when it comes to our revenue, do people think that if we just boycott every game he's going to sell the club? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? Not sure how people can go that long without going to a game but there you go What are you going for though? What are you supporting? Please don’t say ‘the team’. We are not a competitive sporting institution under Ashley. We aim for no more than survival and are actively prevented by Ashley from having any ambition beyond that. I know what this club can be. I was there during Keegan and Sir Bobby and we are not that club any more. Due to Ashley. Stop enabling him ffs So because we aren't a 'competitve sporting intuition' that means stop going to games? Basically you're saying because we're s*** and haven't got a good team unlike when Keegan and Robson was here you're not going to games anymore? Our aim is survival yes, so is half the league. You're sounding completely duluded and entitled to be honest. You'll only turn up if we've got a good team, that's not what's supporting a club is about Howay Seymour man. Until that last quote i've admired your bravery in defending the minority view (on here anyway) but that last sentence? As i said before there's more to it than just being s***. If we try but fail then fair enough, but there is no trying. I haven't said it to anyone else, but read his post man. It sounds like the reason he went to games was because we had a good team under KK and Robson, and now because we're shite and fighting relegation who won't go anymore. I understand what you mean, we have the capabilities to be so much more under Ashley. Under Westwood, Mckeag etc we never really had the major, major money that Ashley has It's not about Ashley's "major major money", it's about using the money the club generates which now sadly is Ashley's money.
  5. I've never felt so low about NUFC and N-O. Thanks Mike Ashley and Gallowgate End.
  6. Pretty sure they aren't regulars here.
  7. Where are all these Rafa-haters you keep banging on about in every fucking thread?
  8. I'm pretty sure you have understood that wrong.

    Copa America 2019

Otamendi was 100% a pen. Scott Stevens would have been proud of that hit.

    Sean Longstaff

And how could Man United just go and get Rakitic, Asensio or James Rodriguez?
  11. Two years left on the contract and can't see him signing a new one. He's gone.

    Women's Football

The clock is the most ridiculous thing in that segment. They started to look at VAR on 86, play resumed on 94 and the referee ended it on 95.
  13. What a fucking utter weirdo. Sarri was 56 when he got his first big job and had to go against Juve. Then won a trophy (almost two) and finished in the top 4 with an ordinary Chelsea team and that was somehow seen as a failure. Also comparing Segunda Division to whatever the Italian 8th tier is called.
  14. Additional income from that would be peanuts compared to all the TV money.

  16. That's just pedantic. There are numerous sports where the replay is integrated well and it's not used for everything. Football should have got rid of the 90 minute continuous clock ages ago and instead use a 60 minute clock that would stop whenever the ball is not in play. Would get rid of so much time wasting and unnecessary controversy. People also wouldn't be so much against VAR for stopping the play for a minute or two. It's about time they introduced another ball to the field, too. And walls. https://talksport.com/football/315919/average-ball-play-time-each-premier-league-side-201718-season-171127263506/ Tell me one positive thing about the current 90 minute continuous clock that isn't "that's how they decided it to be in the 1880s". I also have trouble seeing how it would encourage shithousery. I really love wondering about how much added time there will be and at which point the ref decides to blow the whistle, then complain about it in the match thread. Part of the charm of the game.

  18. Absolute horseshit article. I will never understand people that think refereeing errors somehow add to the game and experience.

    England

Nations League is great. May seem pointless to to the bigger nations that always qualify but it's amazing for all the rest.
