Petre Shilton always looked tubby and it didn't stop him being a good keeper. Elliott has a hell of a way to go to beat off Neville Southall to the fat keeper crown. Not even sure he's less dainty than a Mike Hooper to be fair to the lad. Pretty certain that Shilton and Southall would've been better if they weren't fat. Peter Shilton was fat? I have no idea. I like the expansion. There are enough good teams in Europe and it's exciting to see some smaller nations possibly qualify for the first time. Also, more football to watch.

I do think the fee is a bit excessive. I just hate the attitude that buying a player from a smaller league is instantly a massive risk. There are thousands of flops that were bought from Premier League/La Liga/Bundesliga/Serie A as we all should well know.
