BREAKING NEWS: N-O thinks Krul isn't good enough at hoofing. I know Krul's distribution is criticised by many here and I've defended it before. It's just as good/bad as most of the other goalie's in the league. The examples you gave (Reina, Forster, Valdes) show that it's not an area where many goalkeepers excel. Luckily for us Krul is better than most in almost every other category.

So Krul's distribution is the worst in the league and the two examples you give are Pepe Reina and Fraser Forster. Other was not good enough for Liverpool and got the boot and the other wasn't good enough for a team that has the worst goalkeeper in the league in distribution. I have nothing against Forster and it would be great for us if he was the backup keeper. It's just better for him and basically everyone that he isn't sitting his whole career on the bench like Harper did. It's just annoying that there's a post like yours everytime some of our former players have a decent game on the telly.

Bolded parts are in my opinion more or less horseshite. Even if Krul had a poor game at Everton, he is still one of the top goalies in the league and I honestly wouldn't swap him for anyone. He was simply amazing on 2011-2012 and his form dropped a bit last year. He was still great most of the time and made the saves, on top of his game or not. His distribution always gets criticised but he's no worse than the majority of the goalies. Who are these goalies that are superb with the ball at their feet? As for footballing ability, I don't really understand what you mean. Krul is a good footballer in my opinion, one of the best in the league at his position. Forster plays for Celtic and as long as he is there I just can't say that he's better than Krul no matter what he does. He might look good against Barca but that's not so hard. You saw him against Milan in the week 1? If Krul did that attempted save on the freekick he would get lynched here, rightly so. He might be a Geordie but that isn't enough if you don't have the talent your competition has.

It was a shocking decision from Krul who had a shocker. In my opinion Tiote played well and kept it very simple all game. Kept pressuring the ball and made some important tackles. Considering how most of our players played, Tiote was certainly a positive for me and I hope he can build on this and find some form. If we keep playing Anita and Tiote I would like Anita to be more active when the back line has the ball. Many times yesterday Tiote went to pick up the ball while Anita was standing still. We need them both to be active to help us keep possession and occasionally maybe even create some chances.

Exactly as I felt. Seriously I thought Tiote played well and kept pressing all game. Also kept it very simple. The one time he lost the ball dangerously was a bad decision by Krul to throw it out to so crowded area.

Has he not changed the second half round? I forgot he only gets the blame for s***. Never credit for the smallest of positives. He told the players to attack at 3-0 down after sending them out at kick off to try and limit the damage and you reckon we should be singing his praises? Absolutely embarrassing. After conceding three at home against Hull it's understandable to try and keep it tight away to Everton. With Remy and HBA we can score in any game. That failed terribly thanks to horrible defending by MYM, Colo, Santon and Krul. I'm pretty sure they weren't doing what Pardew told them. Decent second half against half-arsed Everton but it was still decent. I hope no one calls me Parderer.
