The protection Jonas offers is superb, I don't remember Santon having to defend one-on-one all game. I think Jonas had better game too than before the injury, still not good enough to play as wide forward. If Remy joins I hope he is only considered as CM back-up.

If he really needs to go home I think best solution would be to just let him go (not paying wages for the time he's off) and re-evaluate the situation in the summer. Little break from football can't hurt in a situation like this. I'll be mad if San Lorenzo gains something from this.

Who was the ref in the Chelsea-QPR? Not arsed to google. Marins tackle was one of the worst I've seen and it's ridiculous that I knew right away it's only gonna be yellow as it was Chelsea and only 3 minutes played. Compare that to the reds we have got this season.

The free kick was from far away so there was no need for the step as he would've caught the standard curler from left footer 95% of the time. If he didn't take the step the free kick would've hit him straight to the chest. Great strike but totally saveable.

Cabayes defensive work and pressing is really underrated and we miss him for that just as much as his creativity.
