Investigate? Do you think the UK should foot the bill for some sort of asylum detective system? Send some civil servants into Sierra Leone and ask around X's friends and family to find out whether he's really in danger or not? The dole, no, the benefits, yes some of them do. "They" don't stay in France because France don't give them money and accomodation while they have their application processed. We do. Of course they'd hang on to the Eurostar for £50 a week if they've been living in real poverty all their lives! Indi, don't take this the wrong way but you seem to overcompensate all too often for what you see as an overabundance of right wing thinking by tripping over your own feet to get as far-left as you can. You say English charva scum exist, but you don't agree that a similar minority from other countries might make their way to Britain? Why not? This brings me back to the original point I was making, albeit not very well. Just because I don't think Bangura should be deported doesn't make me, or anyone else, a hypocrite. I'm not advocating plumbers, electricians or any other immigrants be deported and then in the same breath saying "well if he's a footballer then let him stay", but you assume everyone is actually saying that, or at least thinking it to the point where it "pisses you off". I'm no hemp-smoking, long-haired, sandal-wearing, veggie-eating, car-bashing hippie and I think we need to have some sort of workable immigration policy that goes further than "If they say they're in danger, then let them stay and give them some cash to get them by" but that doesn't make me some sort of Neo-Nazi either. We're talking about Bangura because it's a) on the news and b) involving a footballer on a football message board. Would you just let anyone in then to take advantage of our benefits system? So what would you do with people who've come here to escape persecution? The argument in this case is that it's dangerous for him to go back, surely if that's the consideration it applies to anyone regardless of their employment status. So would you extend that policy to the bloke who raped that woman, posted above? And how do you prove persecution? My position is that I'm not arsed what Bangura potentially faces in Sierra Leone - he's contributing positively and so he stays. Anything else is bureaucratic toss. BTW, for some people, £59.15 JSA is life's ambition. That includes some people who are asylum seekers and even more people who are English charva scum. Deluded to pretend otherwise.

Would you just let anyone in then to take advantage of our benefits system? What the fuck? I'm not doing a Morrissey or even a Morph, I'm just interested in indi's position.

Send some born and bred English charva scum in the lad's place.
  10. James in Sensible Shocker (see what I did there?).
  11. Y O Y didn't I book flights for £63? brummie, I don't like you. >
  12. Oh bugger off. > I was really torn about going and now the flights are too expensive.
  13. God I fucking hate Spurs.
  14. Christ Almighty! I tell you what, Mort should make a general statement to the press - "every newspaper who publishes shit like this will not be let into the ground on matchdays." Make some sort of stand against these arseholes desperate to upset the apple cart. Only in football journalism can you get away with publishing blatant lies every day, it's astonishing. Premier League strugglers ffs. Aye we're 10th, knocking on the door of the Championship. Sod off!
  15. I think Milner was the only one to miss in the shootout at Watford and Shearer missed a good amount but its one of those urban myths that he never missed any. Wolves 2004, Blackburn in the cup at home and away at Birmingham etc http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ShearerGoalDetail/0,,10278~757307,00.html Forgot the Fulham one at home. Nearly cleared the stand with it. i'm actually in disbelief that this urban miss exists, the guy must have missed at least 10 in his time here Urban myth (sic)? What's that then?
  16. Given time Cacapa could well be the same. they both just needed time to adjust. You don't go from captaining Champions League sides to a becoming a bad player overnight. Cacapa had one bad game and suddenly he's Sunday League standard. Leaves me wondering how some of our posters manage to dress themselves.
  17. There was plenty of nuggets having a go after he gave the ball away a couple of times in his first few games. Continue backpedalling lads! Quality player.
  18. Course he's finished. He was absolute class though.
  19. where would the pace come from to tear ridgewell apart? viduka is a big fat lazy twat Viduka usually outdoes Birmingham with a moment of genius.
  20. I'm still not sure why he's not ready. Cos he was shit against Liverpool? Hasn't stopped the other ten (alright, nine) getting a game. I thought Enrique actually came out of that game with a little credit, which was more than most.
  21. They're two different propositions, man, surely you know this? We were excellent on Wednesday but still didn't create an awful lot and I never expected us to, our best creator is hanging around in his own half. We'll see whether we create or not tomorrow.
