  1. Why? Real Madrid usually win CL finals. Think they've won the last 4 or 5. While Juve usually lose CL finals... 1 win in 4 finals? And that was marred by tragedy. True, but Juventus over the last couple of years have just been relentless when it matters, other than that one game. Thought they were much better equipped last year to win it than they were previously against Barcelona.
  2. Juventus have just got the knack when it matters against absolutely everyone, apart from Real Madrid. Still quite surprised they lost that final tbh.
  3. Bounced out and along the fucking goal line ffs

Like a traffic jam when you're already late.
  5. Cheers lads, I had the double on. What were the odds as I meant to put it on?! Actually, don’t tell me ha ha! Had £25 on Ronny so can’t complain! 35/1, I'm not like you though Paully, I only had a quid on.
  6. Give over. You'll be slagging Damien Duff next.
  7. Always liked Jenas, lay off him.
  8. Cheers lads, I had the double on.
  9. Of course I am, regardless of how much I disagree with or am frustrated by someone, allowing basic levels of respect to go out of the window shows only your weakness and not theirs. No wonder Ashley has us by the balls You realise you can disagree with someone whilst still showing basic respect & courtesy aye? Fuck me I'm out, I can't believe 5/6 posts in a row either advocate wanting someone assaulted, disrespected or even dead because of a game of football. Absolutely awful tbh. You obviously weren't here in the Pardew days.
  10. Gold, Sullivan and Brady have basically killed West Ham United like. Having a shit team is one thing, that's a temporary issue that can be put right, but what they've done in moving them and knocking down Upton Park was a fucking crime. That club was really unique in its location and now it's gone. The reason given for moving to new stadia is always about extra money for the team and how they can't compete without it. Of the current top six, miles ahead of everyone else, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea are in the same place they've always been, Spurs are in the process of moving so we'll have to wait and see (though at least the new stadium is yards from the old one) and Arsenal's demise can be pinpointed almost exactly to the moment they moved house into a bland bowl. Man City entered a cheat code and don't really count. Meanwhile the arse end of the Premier League and the Championship is riddled with clubs who bulldozed their homes, moved into a shiny new stadium next door to a Frankie and Benny's five miles out of town and now not only have they got a crap team, they've sold their identity down the river for 10,000 extra seats which hardly even matter since the TV money went through the roof. I hope we never move.
  11. I hear Mike Ashley's very big on respect for other human beings. The people who work in his sweatshop can't speak highly enough of him.
  12. Napoli will fall off a cliff now, Juve to win it by 10+ points.
  13. Juve are relentless domestically when it comes to just getting the job done. Even going into injury time I thought they'd win that game.

  16. Doesn't matter. If only matters if he actually feints the shot e.g. Messi vs Milan.
  17. The law seems to say that Son did nothing wrong.
  18. I think the point about it disturbing celebrations of players and supporters is showing itself to be increasingly strong, it wasn't something I thought would be that much of an issue but it is. Football's a game more than any other where that one moment might mean everything and this thing throws the balance right off. Points in tennis, rugby, American football, wickets in cricket, all come so regularly, yes one decision can affect a match but not like football where goals are so sparse. You don't get that explosion of a crowd for a wicket or a try unless it's particularly crucial or late. Of course there's always been the risk of a late flag but that's not the same as this. If somebody is forensically checking each goal for an infringement and you're having to wait for confirmation, it's doing significant damage to the sport as a spectacle imo.
  19. Added the poll. I really fail to understand why Sky/BT are so unanimously in favour of it. Controversial decisions form a huge amount of their analysis like, why would they want to lose that? The broadcasters are the ones who provide the video footage to the VAR team - is there a financial incentive? Are the FA paying them? Genuinely have no idea. Are they that in favour though? The BT team certainly weren't last night.
  20. Haven't we kind of accepted that anyway, over nearly 100 years of the rule being in place? It's not the fans that have made this introduction necessary, it's the money in the game. A wrong offside call is no longer an unfortunate bit of sporting luck and something to moan about in the pub, it's the potential to lose the glorious riches of the Premier League.
  21. I hate it but I don't see it going anywhere.
  22. Yeah I agree, the Football League one is similar but with someone from William Hill, as well as a plug for some predictions app.
  23. Espanyol were at home Yes they were, don't know why I thought that.
