  1. The Tony Adams era rolls on. Sevilla lead Granada after 4 minutes.
  2. Lost 3 of their last 5 like, including their last home game. I think it's a good price.

    Ugo Ehiogu - RIP

Him and Southgate were irritatingly good together for Boro.
  4. Typical night for me. Had Monaco at what looked and turned out to be a laughable price, and end up £1 up thanks to a load of others that all got taken down by the goalless draw.
  5. Hope it's Monaco vs Real next round, it'll be a basketball score.
  6. Had no idea Gouffran had won L1 like. Played most of the games as well.
  7. Rosenborg are a fucking shit Basel.
  8. I need Rosenborg to score twice so naturally they're making a grand job of scoring early and grinding out a 1-0.
  9. I backed Brann against a newly promoted side last week and they were fucking garbage.

    Football podcasts

New "emergency" Tuesday Club released, should be worth a listen.
  11. The gorgeous irony of Kelvin McKenzie potentially falling on his sword for an article about people from Liverpool. Fucking arsehole.
  12. The TF are not exactly ones to take the moral high ground. The fanzine is full of ex hooligans who's still fantasise about hooligan culture. Paully?
  13. What's Paully going for? That's the information we need.
  14. Maidstone are long as well, they're bang in form and scoring freely.
  15. Same, I'm fucked if it doesn't work out that way. Monaco strike me as extremely long. 2 goals 13/8? They average 3 a game.
  16. Same. One of those that's so fucking obvious with hindsight. Palace were nearly 4/1 ffs.
  17. I know it's Atleti but blimey, Leicester are tempting at 12/1.
  18. Le Havre finished 7th in Ligue 2 the season before he was appointed, then he finished 4th. When he left, they were 5th. "Consistently into title fights" I'm pretty sure every Ligue 2 club has a "shoestring budget".
  19. I really hope you stay up, you have always been a likeable club, normally play decent football, and I'm moving to Swansea in a few months, so I'd be handy if both Newcastle and Swansea were in the Premier League. I really, really, hope they go down for the way they treated Bradley. I'd say Swansea were fairly vindicated in the way they treated Bradley like Absolutely not. One of the managers with the best records in Europe when it comes to sorting out shitfuck teams into good teams (albeit not in the four massive leagues) and he was not even given a transfer window before being replaced by a manager with no record to speak of. This is a mental statement.
  20. So if you put say a tenner on this what would you win? The decimal format isn't what I am used to? I assume it'd be like £22? 2.2 is 6/5
  21. I don't necessarily think the football this season has been great (leaving aside the control argument), but I sometimes wonder what people expected. Even decent Premier League teams don't batter Championship teams when they meet in cup competitions and certainly very few teams in the Championship have seasons where they wipe the floor with other teams each week - it just doesn't happen and didn't happen in 09/10. By this time in 09/10 we were absolutely rampant tbh, at home anyway. We kicked on towards the end pretty much thanks to the signing of Routledge, tbf. Yep, pretty much every home game after the January window up until sealing the title was a complete mismatch.
