Eh? In freeze frame it was clearly onside.

    Shola Ameobi

    I wouldn't go that far.
  3. It's like that every game at that place. Laughable club. It happens at sjp regardless of the result. Anyone that does it is a pointless bellend. That's bollocks. Look at the state of the ground when City score the 6th, it's half empty. If you think it would be like that at SJP when 5-0 up, I don't know what to say to you. The only time you ever see it that bad at SJP is if we're getting murdered. Some people leave, that happens everywhere. City is like nowhere else in the country for the proportion who do.

  5. Dawson is much better than Williamson. Dawson's not much better than anyone. How he is a Premier League footballer is completely beyond me and has been for years. Absolute toss.
  6. Spurs are gunk. Had them down for a thrashing today, just completely impotent going forward and how can you spend nearly £100m and still have Michael Dawson as a first choice? Not fit to lace Mike Williamson's boots.

    Alan Pardew

The flat 4-4-2 with Shola was fine in the first half, we created plenty of chances. Had some bad moments defensively mind. The problem in the second half wasn't the formation, it was that we stopped pressing, sat deep and invited pressure. I don't hate Pardew but I get totally p*ssed off when we get a lead and do this. Its ridiculous, has cost us points and we show no signs of changing it. was it a decision to do that today though, gouffran can't keep up the pressure for 90, cabaye's substitution was more fatigue than tactical and sissoko had been away aswell. do you think the plan is to sit so deep after taking a lead ? seemed like we ran out of legs more than anything tactical. Lost count of how many times I've read this post in the last three years. majority of the time you'd probably have had a point, not sure about today though. Even though the manager has admitted it afterwards? "We went out to protect it after half time. I put them in the wrong mode with the wrong words" That is how we play under Pardew. Always has been, always will be.

  9. Anyone shouting that when Tiote has the ball should have their season ticket taken off them.
  10. When's Carroll back? He'll grind out results with him in the team but not without. Personally I hope the horrible cunt never plays again but I assume he will.
  11. Never seen as much genuine laughter at the match as when Shola had that shot in the second half.
  12. Didn't think anyone had a poor game really, although as usual Tiote had me chewing my fist in frustration at times. He wouldn't make my first team personally. Our mentality was summed up when Remy went clear on his own midway through the second half, was pushed wide and turned to look for support. Sissoko was lightly jogging up as if we'd just won a corner and everyone else was in our half.
  13. I'd sell my granny to see that fat headed turd relegated.
  14. The game went exactly as I expected it to. Take a lead into half time and then defend like fuck. Was always confident we'd win but was just as sure it would be by the odd goal and be shitting ourselves in injury time. That's how we play, always have and always will. Feels really good to be on a great run of results and nicely placed in the table. Would be even nicer to be able to win a game comfortably by a few goals but that will never happen whilst Pardew manages us, hasn't got the bottle to thump anyone.
  15. Like fuck will we start the same tactics agaisnt Norwich if we get a result today, have a word with yourself, man.
  16. I seem to remember Brett absolutely guaranteeing me that Pardew wouldn't just go with the same team against Norwich and that Ben Arfa would play. This is Pardew all over, we weren't seeing some sort of tactical genius at work in the last two games. His ploy is always: - win a game with System X - use it until one occasion where we lose - adopt System Y. - Repeat

    Loïc Remy

    He wasn't in court ffs.
  18. He should have included a picture of an Aga cooker.
  19. Rather beautiful irony in there somewhere. Papers are going to town on him playing the "you all look alike" card and don't even realise it's Anita themselves. Says more about those daft cunts than it does about him tbh. Desperate to get their claws into anything without even doing the most basic of homework - even using their eyes to look at the photos has proved beyond them.
  20. Nope just dropped, was on the bench. Fairly stupid thing to do given his recent performances. Put him, MYM, Gouffran, Haidara, HBA, Sissoko from the start and Obertan into that French side and they romp it. Ok not Obertan.
