Why did Swansea score just before half time and then come out still trying to play football? Why didn't they batten down the hatches and give us the ball?

not sure about shocking tactics. similar tactics to two years ago to a similar style swansea and most were happy after that saying we got it right, shite execution when we had the ball though was the big difference. He's also largely abandoned several staples (such as Krul taking all free kicks more than forty yards from their goal and the lump to Williamson). Question remains as to what happens when one or two injuries arrive, what happens when we go behind etc but life feels so much easier when we're winning so enjoy it. There's that particular question answered, in exactly the same way it was answered in that season. We fall behind, we get battered.

aye, he's trying the same as 2 seasons ago and had been pretty similar till they scored. in that game we were much better in possession from about 25mins, today we haven't been. Trying to play a pacy counter attacking game but has exchanged Ben Arfa for Shola. Sensible approach.

It's almost as if our cast iron gameplan of giving the other team the ball and hoping they don't score isn't 100% foolproof.
