He's got to approaching the endgame when he's putting out teams like that, surely to God.
-
Didn't know that!

Steve Bull.

Classic Pardle. Aye, give Alan Smith a run out for a laugh. I wasn't laughing.

That Tschoi who played for West Brom against us, 3-3. Bagged a hat trick (having also scored against us earlier in the season), never heard of again.

You couldn't even revamp the Metro for what that City team cost. -
Plenty of time for that over the next fortnight.
-
Sticking point is surely the compensation, although I'm inclined to think Ashley would be happy to see the back of him and compromise.
-
And what was your opinion when he was banging all those goals in for fun? that was a ridiculous purple patch this poor form is too long to be a bad patch He's quite clearly not "just a poor player" though is he? That's the point. You don't have two very successful seasons in the Bundesliga and then go at a goal a game in the Premier League for another half season if you're a poor player in a bit of form.

A 28 year old shouldn't need coached about passing a ball, about finishing a chance, about crossing a ball. But they all get coached nevertheless. Absolutely preposterous statement Jon. They're all extremely well paid to get the best out of the players. The excuses are getting worse. If you honestly think his moronic offsides are down to coaching then I really don't know what to say. And because of that, you don't think the coaching team should be attempting to do anything about it?

Man remember Halloween 2010. -
Aye, he's nowhere near as good as Sissoko, who has about six, every game, for ten minutes each.
-
Yep, been saying that for weeks. It's already begun.

His type of game tonight tbh, plenty of space and a fairly slow tempo.
-
That's an absolutely vile thing to say... you want us to name a stand after him?!
-
It goes without saying that he's been awful for a while now (I thought he was alright tonight tbh, but I've become used to the howls of derision every time he touches the ball) but stuff like just running offside over and over again simply smacks of extraordinarily bad coaching. People will argue that it's up to him to sort that out but it really isn't, that's what coaches are for, you can guarantee that any other club would actually be working on it extremely hard in training and I doubt that sort of thing is terribly difficult to iron out. Maybe they are trying... personally I doubt it.

Absolutely no chance. Unfortunately.

That's the thing the top teams are that far ahead of the rest that their reserves would beat any of the others, apart from a fluke of last season they nearly always win the cup competitions. The rest of us just don't have the squads to compete and never will. Football is f***ed they should just f*** these teams off into a league of their own with the rest of europes top ones That doesn't describe City tonight, they were absolute dross and very beatable. It seems every team Newcastle play is beatable to you and you make it sound like Newcastle can't loss against a beatable team Any team is beatable but is that guaranteed ? What are the odds for winning against a billion dollar team ? I never said it was guaranteed but if you don't play your best team then you deserve what you get when that's f*** all. City have won, what, 1 away game in 4 or 5? And this was their frigging second string. It's better than our first tbh. Is it though? I thought they were absolutely miserably bad and thoroughly disinterested, especially in the first half. Certainly they looked miles better after a couple of subs.

We've changed the training regime from Monday - Thursday = defending, Friday = attacking. It now seems to be more like: Monday 4-4-2, Tuesday 4-3-3, Wednesday 4-2-3-1 on the deck, Thursday 4-3-1-2, Friday 4-2-3-1 going long ball, then on Saturday we give them all a go for 15 minutes each.

Ignoring the fact that he didn't get the job this morning, why didn't Remy feature? You know, that guy who scores all our goals? The team he put out was good enough. The chances came, on another day we would have taken them. Probably more likely if it was a day when Remy was playing. Depends how you want to play. Majority of the chances fell to Cisse. If Remy had been in his place then we wouldn't have had the same good link up play with HBA (particularly on the break). We'd have been playing a different game. A game where we've regularly been scoring two a match? There's just no excuse for our top scorer not featuring at all.
-
Wouldn't care but that run started way back when they didn't have two pennies to rub together. Fucking Emile Mpenza ffs.
