It's also 2 defeats in 10 in the league. Stats mean nowt man, they can be shaped in whatever way anyone wants. Yes but he's a centre forward, he's there to win us games. Could understand using that side of the statistic if he was a centre half. Drawing every game over the course of a season will take you down, we need to win games man and we totally unable to do it at the moment. We've also scored 15 goals in those 10 games, 10 games that Carroll wouldn't even have played in if he's only just making the bench for Liverpool today. We didn't fail to win most of those games because of failure to score. We didn't win because of poor defensive mistakes (Sunderland, Spurs, Everton, Fulham at least). Are you only allowed to score one goal a game? No, but we threw away leads in three of those games. Er... yeah, we also missed a load of chances to kill the game off.

And the man who's replaced him has scored 6 in 10. Lovenkrands?

Hence I said "Birmingham aside" Only on here could people argue Newcastle United are of equal quality without Andy Carroll. Fucking hell man, listen to yourselves.

Eh? And Jose's one of the best left-backs in the league. Plus there's that feeling that he's 'ours'. Which is important imo. The fact of the matter is, we've got the crux of an excellent squad that has masses of potential. We need to add to it, not start again. Everything should be done to keep our best players at the club. Ben Arfa can play on the right where Barton currently plays. I'd rather keep both of them, but if they want to leave I'd rather just sell them and get it over with. "Can play"? Technically I suppose, same way Tim Krul can put a shift in up front if you asked him to.

I fail to understand how 1 win in 9 is an improvement in form without Carroll, that is absolutely bizarre logic. Birmingham aside, our form is shit.

Have they? Can't remember Barton and Enrique citing Carroll as reason for it like. Widely reported that they've pulled out because of the club's lack of ambition. Both have publicly stated in interviews that they're not happy about it. Contrary to popular belief, just because something isn't running across the Sky Sports News ticker doesn't mean it hasn't happened. And contrary to popular belief, just because something is a negative story on the club doesn't mean it's true. Why do you think they both pulled out then?

They probably haven't forgotten http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/9076100.stm and aren't as gullible as folk on here.

Still have Tiote though. That's ok then, as long as he can play centre forward, left back, right midfield and his own position at the same time.
-
Especially negative now that two key players have withdrawn from contract discussions over it.
-
Still convinced we've not missed Routledge in any way, shape or form?
-
Second time in a week that he's went straight down the tunnel, head looking towards the ground and all. Players always go straight down the tunnel when they're injured, to get treatment.
-
And Joey Barton said of one of those Pardew wins: "he's only been here two days, it was the players" Pardew got shown up today for what he is.
-
Oh right. Now I see, how silly of me.
-
So explain the logic in signing a player who is injured for two months on a three month loan?
-
And yet some people think we don't miss Routledge at all, even as a body? Looney tunes.
-
Said the other day that I suspect we bought him because we knew he was fucked. No wages and they're able to say "oh look we tried." Much better option than Sturridge or Vela who, yeah they'll get on the field and score loads of goals and that, but why would you do that when you have to pay them?!?
-
A gerbil picture might make you feel better but what difference will it make in the real world? Is our proud nation (England) going to pick Nolan ahead of Wilshere based on his goals scored in the premier? Why don't you take our national selectors to task for the same reasons as some random poster on this website? Fucking hell give it a rest man, Jesus.
-
Surely the entire point is he was back up for Barton, who is now injured, and whose absence and replacement probably cost us two points last week. Isn't it also one win since he left?
-
He wasn't "dire" at all. He was also instrumental in getting us promoted. Why such silly vitriol?
