Probably the reason we bought him if it's true that we don't start paying his wages before he gets on the field.
-
He wants shooting with shit if he tries that again. Absolutely.
-
Well he certainly had an excellent game but beyond that...
-
Not if Enrique is still at the club Routledge gave Enrique the runaround at SJP last season, one of the toughest games I've seen him have.
-
If this policy of buying good young players or relatively unknown and relatively cheap players whose value will increase is new, what was Dyer? Jenas? Woodgate? Krul? N'Zogbia? Bellamy? Krul? Given? Bernard? Solano? Milner? Acuna? This idea that Ashley is doing something new and revolutionary is such an unbearable load of shit.
-
Krul was here years before Ashley turned up as well.

I'd love to see some evidence of this Arsenal model seeing as some people actually fall for it, and it shouldn't include basic stuff like 'producing players', which is something every club has tried to do since football clubs started. Developing players and selling them on sounds more like the Crewe Alexandra model to me.

Kaka, you seem to miss that I'm more than happy to be proved wrong if I've criticized our players. Nolan's won me over and I'm delighted about it. Contrast this with continued insults and vitriol towards a bloke who is currently 3rd top scorer in the Premier League.
-
Nolan never once played alongside Smith the season we went down, you utter mug.
-
Would you have said the same if he'd fractured the bloke's cheekbone Cronky? The Wigan lad would have solid grounds for a common assault charge as it stands, seeing as the FA refuse to uphold the laws.
-
The referee definitely had a word with Barton. They're as bent as fuck.
-
This defence that they can't do anything because the referee saw it is such a load of shit. They didn't let that stop them with Ben Thatcher and once precedent has been set, they can't go back on it and keep peddling that as an excuse.
-
With Barton possibly crocked and Taylor out for three games, we should be trying to get Routledge back, not attempting to get more midfielders off the books. You'd think having to utilise Lovenkrands on the right wing would have rung the alarm bell like.
-
Who's going to fill in when Tiote picks up that inevitable yellow card? Guthrie did alright a few weeks ago when he did. Are we that desperate to get that 4 grand a week off the wage bill?
-
What 'recent attitude'? The one that had him run seventy yards past about five players and putting a pinpoint cross in. Cunt.
-
They tried though, unlike, say, us. I thought Hughton was a top, top manager, you can't possibly be suggesting that he got it wrong. Well Pardew actually tried in the FA Cup and still cocked up, so I don't know what that says about him. And what on earth has Pardew got to do with this discussion? Get a life, man. NUFC as a club, managers, players and supporters, have taken a ridiculous snobbish attitude to this cup as long as I've been following us. Not one semi final since 1976... you only have to win about three games to get there!
-
They tried though, unlike, say, us. I thought Hughton was a top, top manager, you can't possibly be suggesting that he got it wrong. I said at the time that he got it wrong, just like Pardew vs Stevenage.
-
We wouldn't have. You say that like Birmingham ever win anything. We should have gone full strength against Arsenal and against Stevenage.
-
Jesus Christ almighty.
-
They tried though, unlike, say, us.

When I suggested we should actually try and win this tournament, I got absolutely slated on here.
-
Quite obviously a natural right footer.

Paul Merson: "Steve Bruce's next job will probably be Man Utd" More chance of me getting that gig than Bruce.

If a bid is accepted, the player goes. Players turning down moves generally doesn't happen, despite people on here thinking it does all the time. Les Ferdinand got a phone call halfway to London saying that Shearer had done his knee and that we wanted him to turn round and come back, he said that despite the fact he never wanted to leave, it had been made clear to him that the money was more important than he was, so he refused.
