"Reassurances That Every Penny Will Be Reinvested In The TEAM."
Wullie replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Exactly Ahmed. No one else seems to be realising that we have to spend the money wisely. Souness had 50 million at his disposal when you could get much more for your money and wasted every last penny. Trusting this idiot with that much would be suicidal. -
How is Kevin Nolan involved in this debacle? Giving interviews about Carroll to LFC.TV... what the fuck is going on?
-
I'm more pissed off with Kevin Nolan, he can fuck off with that shit like. Fucking disgraceful from the supposed captain.
-
Blatantly obvious to anyone with a fucking brain that Carroll was a goner from the moment he took the job. Ashley is on record as saying his plan is to build players up then sell them high and Hughton decided he wasn't prepared to be complicit with this so he had to go. How naive do you lot have to be before you realise what a liar the man is? Did the fact that he claims no contact with NUFC before our manager's dismissal not ring any bells when every person on this board knew he'd been scheming and wanting us to lose for over a month beforehand? He's a liar hired by proven liars and still people believe every word. Do any of you want to buy dinosaur insurance? Just seen a T Rex in Byker.

Far worse! At least we didn't sell anyone. Wouldn't surprise me to wake up to find we've resigned Oliver Bernard tomorrow tbh.
-
ahyes, the "rooney" tactic resurfaces. rubbish then aswell Why would Redknapp deny all knowledge of a bid when NUFC have publicized rejecting one?
-
Then he should resign if he doesn't want to be complicit. Honourable men like Kevin Keegan do that (and get slated for it), not snakes in the grass like Alan Pardew. Spineless worm. Depends on whether he'll be allowed to spend the money in the summer. He might be looking forward to it. I'm not. Wouldn't trust him with a £5 Argos gift voucher.

Apart from Ireland.

C'Mon man.............this is the fucktard who wouldn't deny links to David Beckham in early Jan. He's always been Ashleys yes man - he'll be told who he's buying and who he's selling and in the interim he's their mouthpiece. Stevie fucking Wonder can see that. Yep. Today has been a roaring success for the casino mates, they're probably in Aspers with £12m of it now, fucking pair of wankers.
-
Didn't stop them signing Van der Vaart in October.
-
Second fucking NUFC team that cunt Dalglish has ripped apart. Detested him as a kid, detest him now.
-
He'll have been up here, that's why we'll have bid for him, he always is. Probably the only non-mackem in the country, short of going begging to Middlesbrough, that we could have got in for medical/contract signing quick enough. I'm not joking either.
-
Fuck me.
-
I wonder how many points we would have needed for Ashley to think twice about flogging Carroll, he obviously thinks we're home and dry.
-
Even Blackpool have more ambition by the looks of things.
-
.com have it spot on.

Woodgate has already been mentioned. Howay man Mick, I hated Shepherd but that was inspired. He knew Woodgate was a wreck and took them to the cleaners. £14m for a player who didn't get on a football pitch for 18 months afterwards.
-
Say what you like about Shepherd, he would never ever have let this happen. Remember the Dyer saga?
-
Beat Villa 6-0. Five months later we sell the best player on the field and buy the worst, on the same day. Inspired.
-
This was his remit. Job done.

Ronaldo was at the best club in the country, and his Real Madrid move ran in the papers for nearly two years. I don't see your point? You don't think any European clubs ever enquired about Paul Scholes? If you're told "Not for sale at any price, and if we hear anything in the papers, we'll go straight to FIFA" then that is the end of the matter. We haven't done that. Only club I've ever seen after Paul Scholes was when the thickos down the road thought they could get him.
-
We have proved today if a club wants the player enough and are willing to pay the money, we are happy to sell. No club in English football history has rejected an offer this big. How do you know? Bids for players who are truly not for sale never make the press... unless you think there's never been a single bid from anywhere gone in for Scholes, Giggs, Carragher, Terry etc. No smoke without fire, NUFC have perpetuated this.
