Last time he was in the Premier League he was just a head, as soon as the ball was below neck height, he was useless. Now he's a really potent threat in the air and on the deck.
The change in him since Christmas is astonishing. Just goes to show what game time can do for a player. You can have the best coaching in the world but you learn and develop the most out on the field.
We play a similar team to the Accrington game and they'll get torn a new arsehole. It's not an experience at all, it'll probably crush them.
Aye we'll need to play a strong side to avoid a humiliation.
Afraid not. Arsenal -3 means that you can take 3 goals off their final score and if they still win, then you win the bet. So Arsenal need to win by 4, Newcastle by 3. Good luck with that.
Oh come on it clearly is, even the hoody tassles are at the same length.
The same length Johnson293! You just can't argue with those kind of cold hard facts!
Could do with that tackle on Lee Cattermole/Michael Owen/Darren Bent.
Not that I condone deliberately injuring other players of course. Except the first two.
No way we should drop either WR or JG imo. Whatever their limitations, and i'm annoyed at the slagging Routledge is getting, they're two of our key players and the pair's pace one of our main weapons.
Have to say i don't really like our attitude to this competition if it's to stay as it was last night. Fair play to the young lads for coming through but i'd have been pretty annoyed if we'd gone out. I'm aware survival is priority but that doesn't mean we should forfeit competitions that we could have a crack at winning.
