  1. Aye a lot of the time Carroll was dropping deep and giving it to Routledge, giving him no option in the box. Certainly nothing wrong with his crossing last season.
  2. I'd just like to echo the hate for SWP. Never forgiven the little wanker for the dive to get Elliott sent off in the cup, and he's fucking shite to boot.

Comfortably his and Smith's best games in black and white. Bossed it. Ireland ballooned a shot over in the last ten minutes, it was honestly the first time I realised he was playing.
  4. The fact that Warnock who we nearly replaced him with was in the opposite corner made his performance even more special because Routledge, despite his final ball being a little lacking, absolutely ran him ragged.
  5. I really like him. Excellent today.

  7. This is exactly why we should have had players in long before now! "Oh we've got ages man, the transfer window doesn't shut for five years..." FUCK OFF! Unless you've got injuries, your first team on day one should be your season first XI. Fucking Alan Smith, the fucking wanker. God I'm annoyed.
  8. We've got enough immobile target men without buying a crocked one from someone else. We need mobility up front.
  9. We're fucked if that's our attitude to home games. After going unbeaten at home for an entire season, I think we should be looking to beat the likes of Villa at home. They're no great shakes. I mean we're shit, obviously, but when newly promoted teams stay up, it's usually home form that'll do it, and not just against the other dross.
  10. 'your shit and you know you are.' 'Booooooooooo!' 'Off off off off'
  11. He's got two British (one English) parents? Born in Canada, to a Welsh mother, grew up in Germany and as far as I can see had spent a grand total of zero days living in England prior to his début for the national team. His father's English though and he has a British passport.
  12. I can see the ambiguity when it comes to players like Shola (arf) or Moses, who came over as kids (5 and 11 respectively) - they're schooled here and grow up in the English way of life. Someone like Arteta is just here working, he's no more English than I am Spanish.

  14. Makes the ridiculous bargaining over HBA seem bizarre. Fair play, we need these players.
