Both Hall and Tino putting in terrific performances - reminiscent of Andy Griffin shutting down Ginola, back in the day. Good lads

Superb win and performance = from 1 to 11. Huge win for Newcastle. And can I finish by saying FUCK OFF LEGO-HEED!
-
Playing really well - superb header from Isak and a brilliant ball in from Gordon. Need more of same 2nd half. Side looks better balanced as it's been set up.

Tom Wade apparently in charge for Saturday's game at Ilkeston Town. Now I'm not working at weekends, I may well head back to Croft Park and take my nephew with me. Will see who they manage to get in and whether funds are going to be in place to make the club competitive again. Helluva job on mind.

Will be Arsenal/Liverpool/Man United or Spurs/Man City away. -
Good little shift from the young lad, tonight. Put himself about, good turn of pace and unlucky not to score.
-
Much, much better tonight. Looks organized, tenacious with the press and dangerous on the counter. Excellent win.

Which Sky Sports+ channel is this due to be on? -
I believe the PL isn't far off reaching it's peak (if it hasn't happened already) Same clubs winning all the trophies for 25-30 years (with the exception of Leicester) and now you have Man City who are winning PL titles in a row, trebles, etc. It will become boring and people will switch off. Champions League is already going the same way. Arsenal played Liverpool at the weekend and normally, I would have been bang up for watching it, but instead - I booted up FM and listened to it on 5Live. It's also rare that I watch MotD these days. Perhaps it's just me though - I don't know.

Man United will never sort itself out, until the Glazer's sell up. Poisoned chalice.

I think Eddie will get to the end of the season, and we'll then see how it's gone. What I will say is that the knives in the press will be out for him straightaway. Football365's anti-Newcastlle shpeel going into overdrive, more than usual (already) Another couple of defeats the the press will be clamouring for him to be sacked.

I thought we did OK today, against a team that is allowed to have vastly more resources than we are allowed to. I feared the worst after the first goal, but we dug in, competed and really - Cole Palmer (best player on the pitch) was the difference between the two sides. Thought Big Joe did better and we more involved when he went to outside left. I feel dispirited a wee bit, but not down. Clearly there are issues that need sorting out with this side after a really poor summer. January will be key. PSR is working as it should though - Big 6 will be happy as they've managed to disable us, since the takeover and really stall our development.
-
I think the pressure is on Eddie and the next 3 games will be huge for our season. That said, if it doesn't go well - I can see a change being made next summer and the current side being broken up. We will see though.

Am not hopeful for today, given us being bang out of form and our really poor record at Stamford Bridge. 2-0 win to the home team. -
Leicester 1 Forest 3 Wood with his 2nd
-
Eillott Anderson will end up back in in the years to come - just watch. Seems to be doing really well for Forest.
-
Yup Leicester 1 Forest 2 Wood
-
Leicester 1 Forest 1 Vardy
-
Leicester 0 Forest 1 Yates

Not just the PL - European football too. Was discussing with my dad, yesterday - told him that Real Madrid battered Bayern 4-1 on Weds night, and neither of us really batted an eyelid. Such a game should be a knockout one with real jeopardy - not this meaningless league shite. People are and will switch off.
-
Excellent pay day for them, then.

TNS 2 Astana 0 How much do the Welsh side bank from a win?

Jose sent off, after some confusion (Listening to TalkShite)

We will be really lucky if he ends up playing 10 games for us, this season. As sad as it is, his time here is done and a new striker has to be a priority, come January.
