btw - was quite impressed with Strand-Larsen for them yesterday - looks very mobile for a big lad and puts himself about. One for us to keep an eye on, IMO. -

I'm going to go for a relegation and a 2 year transfer ban. If Citeh 'win', then it confirms once and for all that the FA aren't fit for purpose and should be gutted from the top down. -

Radio Newcastle and Ando good-ness here. Harvey Barnes goal. https://www.facebook.com/newcastleunited/videos/1008823267589321 -
Yeah - he looks a wee bit out of form. He will come good again though.
-
I thought he did OK today. You aren't always gonna get the quality from Murph, but you get the graft and he's a good lad to have in the squad.
-
An absolute belter of a goal. Lad has real quality.

Some turnaround mind, capped off by a pearler from Harvey Barnes. We weren't at it today, but the old addage of a good side finding ways to win when not playing well possibly applies. 10 from 12 and 3rd in the league. Can't complain but still much work lies ahead. -

Gotten sloppier as the half has gone on. Zero spark. -
People need to remember how much Citeh actually spent, when the club was first bought back in 2008. Β£30 million on Robinho which was an astronomical amount at the time, and that was just the very start. Mind - it all changed when the Russian took over Chelsea - he spent outrageous amounts too. They were only hours from going tits up when he bought them. NUFC at that time under SBR were strongly linked with a move for John Terry (the shithouse)

I know that, but all Londoners are still cockney bastards to us older lot! π

Chelsea are jammy cockney bastards.

Thauvin and Cabella just didn't want to be here in the first place. -

Tony Cunningham wasn't great, but he was a grafter. As for Mavis - he did OK I guess. That winner v Liverpool. -

Cacapa was no mug in France - captained an excellent Lyon side at the time, for a good few years. Perhaps his legs had just gone? -
First league win of the season for Blyth tonight! 1-0 v Workington. Billy Gordon with the goal. North Shields got a 1-1 draw at Newcastle Blue Star.

Trips will go on to have a good career in coaching and/or management, IMO. Seems to have that about him.

I would go for 80k too. Would hopefully get rid of any waiting list, as well as allowing hopefully cheaper tickets - making the club more accessible and not solely aimed at single young lads and the middle-classes. Many older fans inc the likes of myself, were priced out years ago.
-
Nailed on Thatcher wouldn't have dared doing that to Big Dunc! Cunt.

Blyth lost 1-0 at Prescot Cables - another last minute goal North Shields 2 Seaham 2
