  1. I've been following NUFC via the radio and TV in recent years. I probably still will, but I think my cash and energy will go towards Blyth Spartans. Interested to see what Lee Clark is hopefully gonna build there. NUFC under Ashley is a bust flush.
  2. '2' from the Cambois jury.
  3. Remember if Rafa leaves.... Pardew is available.
  4. Mark Jenson from The Mag on that video. And yes, the Gallowgate bogs were THAT bad.
  5. Without a doubt Sean. And it always gives him/NUFC plenty coverage in the national press and Sky.
  6. Alas this has always been the case and will continue to be. Quite staggering how many times he's played fans by pretending he's going to sell up. Well, either that or he/they just couldn't quite get a deal done, repeatedly, for 10 years. Isn't this the 7th time he's tried to sell the club, since he bought us? Upshot is that no-one will end up dealing with him, because he can't be trusted.
  7. Worrying news (from Caulkin) if it turns out to be true, the only way Ashley leaves is when NUFC begins to cost him money, with a sustained period outside of the PL. What a cunt he is.
  8. Odin Ashley has fucked us over so many times, that it's no wonder we panic when the poison dwarf pops up on Sky to try and muddy the waters.
  9. Ashley is abley supported by some sections of the media (notably Sky and possibly Murdoch's gutter rag) He uses our hope against us - in that we hope things will get better some time. As it is, if this takeover falls through and Rafa leaves - the only way Ashley sells up will be a mackem style plummet down the leagues, with NUFC then beginning to cost him money. The next two weeks are indeed crucial to the club's future.
  10. Blyth gonna have pretty much a new XI come August then! Just read that Blyth have signed ex Gateshead defender, Tom Devitt.
  11. Nicholson one - who's the other?
  12. That's the worry - that we have been played yet again by Ashley.
  13. The board have also cut the budget which is why Armstrong and half the team signed for Darlington.
  14. Blyth's Dan Maguire has gone full-time and signed for York City. Lee Clark gonna have a job on to find a replacement.
  15. The man's greed knows no bounds. I hope it backfires on him.
  16. He is, alhough he is 34 or 35 now. Blyth's all time record appearance maker now I believe too.
  17. I'm totally ignorant to non league football but what would be considered "decent backing" Well, seeing as Armstrong and half the team have left, the board have to allow Clark to bring in decent replacements inorder to consolidate Blyth's place in the league. If they are expecting him to run on a Northern League budget, then trouble will lie ahead. I look forward to seeing how he does and I intend on returning to CP next season, along with the bairn and nephew, when I can.
  18. Depends really. I imagine he probably doesn't need the money and sees it as an opportunity to work at 'home' and be with his family. As a Spartans fan, I can only hope the board are going to give him decent backing.
  19. RIP - was a cracking young player at Arsenal. 35 is no age.
  20. Cracking appointment for Blyth, IMO. Got his work cut against him though after half of the side left for Darlington, amongst other teams.
  21. Not having seen the video, I assume Gaza has fallen off the wagon again? Sad if he has - I hope help is forthcoming vet soon.
