Well played Tim, lad.

Apparently some talk on Arsenal forums about Jenkinson coming in on loan.
-
I'd like to say that it beggars belief the way the club is being ran, but I'm not surprised at all. Ashley maximizing profit yet again. Just where is all of this incoming cash going to go? Be stockpiled by the club for a rainy day? Bet Pardew will say Debucchy wanted away and we couldn't stop him.
-
Reports suggesting that Debucchy is to join Arsenal, imminently. Rats deserting a sinking ship.

I think if fans are to make a concerted effort to protest next season - it's gotta be on TV games. Walkouts - banners/posters than can be smuggled inside a coat, etc. Or will not enough folk be bothered?
-
Because his brand won't look so good in the championship, which is where we are currently heading. Finished top half last time out without having to sign a single player or change manager. That's all he'll be looking at. If he believes that again for next season, then he's off his fucking nut.

was just talking about this with a lad at work, lets assume we sell debuchy this summer, maybe krul and sissoko too plus the unwanteds and we go on to post a record profit.... is he trying to set the club up as an attractive proposition to buyers in that it's profitable? if so he'd have to be selling to someone f***ing stupid 'cause they'd be buying the equivalent of the house at the end of blazing saddles that just collapse as there's nothing but a front supported by rickety pieces of wood Me personally, I think he wants his loan back asap and he'll then seek to sell us - as a PL club but one that has been hollowed out from the inside. TV money will be the major attraction for a new buyer, but it's still going to need significant investment to rebuild after Ashley has finished with us. I've also believed that it's personal on his part (towards us) and has been since Keegan resigned. The club is a shell, it needs it's debts to him gone before anyone will come near. That debt isn't going anywhere imo, It's his leverage for the free advertising. Going to be sitting with £100m in the bank by next summer if it doesnt go against the debt Sure why not, healthy cash reserves for future investments into the playing squad and infrastructure I'd also imagine a profit of around £50+ million next March, will be taxable?

He'll never sell us, buying us was the best thing he's ever done. It's no coincidence how much sports direct has grown since he got his hands on us. He won't let that go. He's got us exactly where he wants us and unless a daft offer say £300m plus debts paid comes in he's going nowhere. I don't even think a relegation will see him off. He knows he can sell all our players, buy cheap and bring in free and come back up without much hassle. It cost him, well us £30m last time, it wouldn't cost him this time due to the wage bill being so low and us having more sellable assets. Wouldn't surprise me if the Ashley family own us for the next couple of generations. The thing is though, will be continue to syphon off the huge profits once his loan is paid back - in essence, could he then buy Rangers and use Newcastle's money to support them financially? I'm not sure him staying in charge long term is an option, because the club has become a toxic brand in it's own city. Totally alienate the support and you have nout left. I can't see many still wanting to go and see us humped off Man United and Arsenal, season after season.

I still think we are being fattened up (for want of a better phrase) to be sold next summer. He'll have made enough back from the TV money at that point for his loan to be paid back and he's hoping that this campaign, we'll somehow completely fluke staying up with next to no investment. Said it before and I'll say it again, this club has been dying a slow death since he bought it back in 2007. What will be left when he eventually fucks off though? That's anyone's guess.

It does seem that there is a fire-sale going on but to what end?
-
He'll go for around £10 million. Ashley wins again.
-
Anyone surprised? Kid was surely worth a go in the first team next season. More class management from Pardew!
-
Ashley won't wash his hands of them. They are morally bankrupt company that happens to sponsor a football team in one of the cities (and areas) of the UK which suffers high unemployment and poverty. I still believe Ashley got this lot in as another way of taking the piss out of us lot.
-
Matter of time before he leaves. Who could blame him though?
-
I hope so. Why get one when the owner is ripping the piss out of you?
-
I stand corrected, Neesy. I've not been a s/t holder now for 7 years.
-
Got to be years since s/t's last went on general sale, when we are a top division side? I hope thousands have jacked in.
-
The bitterness of some in this thread. As bad as mackems, IMO.

So cute! She's unreal  Turn on Korean TV and there's literally 20 birds like this on at any given time with slight variations on the amount of plastic surgery they've had. Is she a bit bozz-eyed or is it just me?

The people at the top of the FA have a lot to answer for. For years it's been an old boys club. Look at Brooking for example. How he is still in a job I do not know. It's why Brian Clough never got the England job. They were too afraid of what he would do. Still very much an old boys network, almost as bad as FIFA. Corrupt to the end, all lining their own pockets.

I'm too young to remember the 70's properly, but they exited 82 unbeaten and Marradonna cheated in 86. Never before has there been such a dearth of talent in England. The PL is out of control but the FA don't care because of the money it makes them, the clubs and the tv companies. That's all that matters to them now.
