I still care and support the team, but I do it on my own terms (from afar) I'll continue to watch on TV, but more than likely it'll just be Radio Newcastle on in the background on a matchday, if we aren't on Sky. I wish I lived a bit closer to Blyth, as I'd head there, but being a one car family - not really an option on a Saturday. And going to watch 'The Heed ain't an option either, being a Blyth sympathizer! Not being there on a matchday is hard at first - it's now 7 years since I packed in my season ticket - but it can be done. Also remember that Ashley won't be there forever. We can only hope that he fucks off before the club is damaged beyond repair.

I'd like to think that the Journal, Ronnie and a few of the nationals will be all over this, tomorrow. Quiet few days ahead of the World Cup, so it's an opportunity to stick the boot into these cunts again. As for uniting the fans, it needs to happen but I think for it to get some power it needs a figurehead (a well known former player or manager) and getting those who can't be chowed to get off their arses at St James and vote with their feet. Think so many inside St James are merely going out of habit and routine. Club is in real danger of alienating generations of it's supporter base here and that could be disasterous in the long term. Maybe that's Ashley's intent? To destroy the club once he's made his money back. I still believe it's personal (on his part)

Next season a write off already, but we knew that was going to be the case anyway. Desperate days and I've said that often enough over the past couple of years! They'll be hoping that the summer will give things a chance to cool off, they'll get some new players (loans, freebies, maybe's one 'big' deal) and send the team out in August hoping for the best and that it doesn't go tits up. For those that choose to still go to games, you have my pity. Ashley will be pissing himself tonight. That said, the campaign needs to be kept up. The supporters will win eventually - just got to keep on chipping away.

Total Sport Basically I said that I have no faith in the owner and even less in the manager. Mentioned this place and said that banners had been taken down, rumours that NUFC had been in touch with Liverpool to not let any banners in. Also said that I don't believe Ashley will do what is required in the summer - he will spend as little as he can and will take 17th. Also said that I believe we will be facing a relegation battle next season, as things stand.
