Just been some lad txt'd in on TS who reckons 5000 have so far not renewed. Of course, unconfirmed but Martin the Mackem shouted it down straightaway.

Martin has done that before (to me) when I've mentioned the club lying, on previous calls.

Kinnear will be on Talksport soon enough - unless of course, Ashley has made him sign a confidentiality clause as part of his pay off (if he got one)

Respect for those that have packed in - I know it won't have been an easy decision. I would have done the same had still been going, although I packed in 6 years ago. Club is rotten to the core and it sounds like some momentum is going now, which he will take notice of.

The lack of dignity in that interview is staggering. Ashley and Kinnear hang him out to dry like some patsy (which of course he is) What exists at the club now, is some sort of facist regime, where dissenters will be weeded out, with also the club attempting to control the media, by banning those that seek to question (like the local rags) and put out club-friendly propaganda via the likes of Sky and SD news. Shameful!

I'd bet he has had opportunities of recent to sell the club, but it's making him too much money for SD and ultimately, himself. And of course if it is revenge on his part - he's got a bit more to go yet, I reckon.

Pardew said he was touch and go today, with being ill in the run up to the game. At least he 'showed' today.
