  1. While Sissoko is f***ing huge - he doesn't play like he is. He's a bit of a fairy sometimes I'd agree he's a fairy in the tackle but he does have a knack of getting past players and never seems to get barged off the ball. Once he gets past he's usually lost control of the ball by that point
  2. Micah Richards is very, very injury prone isn't he and could this be the player Pards was on about for £14m? I would imagine if he signed and he plays RB behind Moussa we would literally have the strongest RH side in the league (physique rather than technique mind!)
  3. That's 'cheating' within the rules. Completely irrelevant. But neither option is irrevalent with this guy though. He takes his society back to the primative age yet he should be held against modern society's standards. The outcry when he has though...
  4. Wonder what the odds on Suarez to catch the ball defending his team's goal to stop them conceding within the next season are? Surely worthy of a daft bet
  5. Micky Quinn article in the Ronnie Gill says that this guy walked out of the transfer talks. Sounds about right for us.
  6. The money needs spent but if you need to pay £15m and assuming its paid up front it would have to be for Lukaku rather than Wellbeck.
  7. The lad is talented but also flawed as his head drops too quickly. He needs to work on his defensive game and first and foremost and stop doing them trademark trailing leg attempts at tackling as opposition players go past him.
  8. Apparently this kid plays left back better than midfield according to a couple of mackem work mates so he could end up there also.
  9. To be fair he's never played with Jack Colback. Just ask hoppaz about wor Jacks dazzling abilities and how lacking in skill Ben Arfa is in comparison.. I never said HBA lacks skill or ability but he lacks professionalism which transpires into the fact that if he was fit and sharp he might have controlled that ball better. As it happens he didn't and rather than track back to try to get the ball back he got up and pleaded at the ref for a free kick whilst they went up and scored. Again, where is the evidence that he isn't fit or wasn't fit when he wasn't being played? Please don't say it's because he looked fat in photos. I don't think I could take any more of that kind of 'evidence'. I saw it with my own eyes. I was in Lanzarote at the time in a bar full of different supporters who were commenting on his weight... http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,91227.21950.html There is an epic NPW fail by Dave too for added amusement

  12. Ok to flip that a player that gave a good return at that wage vs those sitting on our bench who are on much larger contracts yet exhibit a desire to do their best for a team by giving not a single fuck for our club, which would you rather have?
  13. Could you tell me what he actually does? Well he managed to bezazzle HBA on the half way line, taking the ball of him will ease, before going upfield to score in the derby. Gozzas replacement and if he turns out better than expected it will be a bonus for me. Oh and fwiw HBA couldnt control the pass, exhibited no skill whatsoever, fell over then when to confront the ref with gloves on while all that went on. he isn't like, he'll be a starter ie Cabayes replacement. Nah we are looking at others for that. Might turn out to be a semi purple in another position(s) though.

  15. Agreed watched him pass the ball out from the back a couple of times in his early days under no pressure straight to the opposition and then put in some acceptable performances before ending up being shit scared of the ball at home games. Finally ended when he decided to take out Nasri and then take up rugby tackling instead of defending in football terms. Good player but can't put his demons to bed playing in front of 50k at the mo. Williamson was in this bracket but ended up being bestish in the defence after a while of settling in. Maybe another year will help as it seems to help other players at our club sort it out. Saylor is a joke btw should be sold by his backing off comments in the press lately i.e. gone from demanding new contracts to being "made available" and then being happy as larry here. He should take the hint as thue club will sell him in a second if the right offer comes in IMO and he knows it. Rather keep Mbiwa though any day of the week.

  17. Jordan Rhodes has had another good season. Definitely worth a punt IMO.
  18. Anyone else notice he was trying to pass opposition players on to team mates instead of tracking back and defending. Two deffo in the first half, one which I think led to a really good chance for Villa.

    Loïc Remy

Think you had him mixed up with Cisse until the last sentence.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Leave what you said out there man otherwise you`ll end up in endless circles of arguments. Oh wait...

You alter your own posts though after making them, then accuse people of doing what you are doing

    Hatem Ben Arfa

100 yards is almost the length of the entire pitch man He has about a 5 metre burst of pace after that I wonder how anyone gets near him if he is so quick. His lack of fitness isnt about that its more to do with him being easily muscled off the ball and generally looking out of steam after a burst of pace.
  24. You would expect a manager not to have a go at the players after three consecutive buggerings? Not Marveaux or Ben Arfa seeing as they only played a few minutes, espeically in Marv case. And he came on during two games where we were getting hammered, and did nothing to warrant being had a go at imo. Not surprised you cant tell the difference, then again it is criticism of Pardew after all. TBF HBA had half an hour and was obviously asked to come on and be an attacking threat. He did this initially for about 10 minutes then decidedly went off the boil to the point of strolling round. Even Gouff had a real go at him at one point for not moving in order so he could be passed to. Marv is another enigma, who strolled about after coming on and he clearly has the ability just lacks the application. Couldn't be bothered to chase back at times which is a great way to treat tired team mates, the fans and even the manager for that matter. Go and have a look as his wiki, from memory he has by-and-large under various managers been the same enigma. I think Pardew has run his course but even if he goes we would still be having similar conversations about the players, just didn't ones about the next guys tactics/weaknesses. What do you expect from them though? both have been ostracised under the current manager to different degrees. Hatem gets ten minute cameos, then is benched as soon as he doesn't score within that time period, and Marveux is playing for the reserves. He then brings them on in a game that is already lost, where the rest of our team had packed it in anyway. He's cast them out in the cold then suddenly expects a performance as he's in the s***? Hardly surprising A bit of effort and try their best. Neither did. I disagree but even if you're right, what on earth would motivate them to?They'll not get a game if they do, they are just human beings man, open to the same motivation issues as the rest of us So they just put little to no effort in and still not get a game? I know what most would consider the best approach to actually getting in the first team and that is do the best you can for the team as well as the fans.
