  1. Ah jeez. I'll go to your crappy store only when I'm good and ready, Ashley, when I'm good and fucking ready.

Must say Im a bit surprised Deano. Had you signed up here under your usual sig explained the above (knowing quite a few post on both forums) and possibly linked to a £5 donation as the start of you paying up it would have looked better. This looks a bit like an attempt to start again and dodge a bet to a very worthy cause. I feel a little as though your "unmasking" has brought this about. I hope Im wrong as a few of us did try to give you the benefit of the doubt over there. Anyway thats my bit said and I'll leave it as that. Was Monday really the first time you had been on this forum or have you been here under another guise before? Dont read TT so can only assume you are 'Christmas Tree' on there too, personally think a bets a bet and should be honoured(Pissi) but dont see why that affects what he does on this forum or what he has as a username. Or why TT shite is in this thread. Probs best to keep it to PMs.

Don't worry, that'll soon be nipped in the bud after we've played another shite half a dozen games with him in the team.
  4. This stuff about costing us money is going a bit far, there was nothing like that in the last accounts. Yes there was. Edit: looks like I was thinking of the ones before that. Of course it's costing us money! Company's aren't putting the signs up and doing up the dugouts with Sports Direct seats and such, free of charge are they It's costing someone money certainly. There was nowt about it in the latest accounts though, and you'd hope there'd be some wedge from SD to us in the next lot. I'd be pretty amazed if things that have been done in the last month appeared in last year's accounts like Alright, the lot after then. Jeeez. Mabe there will be something in the next lot though fingers crossed. The ramping up of shit plastered around the place hasn't just been in the last month. Yeah, we didn't get a penny from Sports Direct in the first 3 years when we were making a loss, but I'm sure he had a change of heart last year when we made tens of millions of pounds profit. Probably what gave us a million or so to spend on transfers in the Summer. He only treats us badly because we don't love him enough, give him another chance. Just wait until the next set of accounts/transfer window, you'll see... I don't think there has been an significant upping of loving towards him recently so I'm pretty sure we won't. I agree that 'there has been nothing coming in from SD in the accounts, so why would there be now', and I still can't get my head around whether he thinks it actually makes any difference seeing as they're both his companies. But you just kind of hope that now the tacky signs are all over the shop, he'll at least get them to cough up some money ffs.

Im just slightly stunned by Roeder in these stats. As soon as he was appointed it was painful as hell seeing him as our manager, but fair play to him for getting the points in I guess.

Thanks to HTT we're bringing back some lovely memories here. Can't wait for Saturday now, just to see whether he takes it on the chin and makes some changes, or somehow proves QPR was just an off day. Really don't want to see us getting our first hiding of the season against Villa.

Fair enough. Not sure why this is being discussed in an Alan Pardew thread though.

  9. I find renaming stadiums pretty diabolical whoever the company. For new stadiums it's just about bearable, but ones with any kind of history to them shouldn't be touched imho. Sadly I guess at some point there will be a critical mass of the bloody things, and whoever is left will have to change or be left seriously out of pocket though. Again like I said the EPL has had a good run but the whole world is moving that way. http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/WWgeronimo.jpg I HEAR YA

  12. Just It's all over the ground. Certainly is, and it's shit, but all I'm saying is that it's not the SDS, and that's quite an important part of it. Advertising is advertising, but actually having some bloke on 5 Live saying 'now we're of to Newcastles Sports Direct Stadium for the second half' would be fucking galling.

  14. Etihad, Britannia, Reebok, Emirates, DW, Liberty and ours now. Woah, not us really to be fair, we are not the Sports Direct stadium, and seriously doubt we ever will be. There is just branding i.e [company name] at St James's Park.
  15. 7 if you include us then Arsenal, Manchester City, Bolton Wanderers, Stoke City, Wigan Athletic, Swansea City.
  16. Really? How many are there in the Premier League? 2 or 3? Anyway, you can't rename a long standing existing stadium which already has a name, it's ridiculous because nobody would call it by its new name. 7.
  17. Great stuff. Dare I say that there is every possibility of that going straight into my top ten awards speeches of all time. Loved the blissfully captivated look of the audience at 8m 24s.
  18. I wouldn't be too confident. With him not playing or scoring goals we'll probably try to negotiate a reduced price, which will end with them telling us to fuck off again. Probably on the last day of the window. They'd have to be a bit mental telling us to fuck off if he's not playing or scoring goals tbf.
