  1. Can't help thinking these stats are like goalkeepers in s*** teams being lauded for making loads of saves. Still, nice to see. The next 6 players below him are from the Top 3 teams..... That's kinda the point I was making. Of course his stats on how many times he's twatted it away from goal are better than players at teams that don't concede so many chances. But then players from other poor teams should be below him in that list instead of players from teams at the top - that stat highlights how much better he was than other defenders outside the absolute elite. Give me the amount of times he was presented with an opportunity to intercept, and the percentage he made it happen. Then lets see if the players from better teams had a worse/better ratio... Nah, I don't really care, I'm glad he's here. Just have a problem with these stats being thrown around. See below.

That's kinda the point I was making. Of course his stats on how many times he's twatted it away from goal are better than players at teams that don't concede so many chances. That's likely gonna be the situation he's in with us this coming season, so it's good to see imo Er, ok then. Champion.

  5. And the cries of a thousand bed-wetters were suddenly silenced. Viva Rafa! /whey, I preume this means he's staying, otherwise Lejeune'll be Lekicking himself.
  6. Those that know Dummett, geography teachers, and cwarr07 are my go to guys.
  7. I don't thing you quite understand just how bereft our squad is of poor to average players.
  8. I never knew that like. What does that entail? Is it just his height effected? Think they are injections. Should have come to Newcastle, they were free on the NHS. Would have been able to offer him the leg break and lengthen option too.
  9. The rumour is he's already said his farewells to the players, yet he's quoted in an article published today. Admittedly, that's putting a lot of good faith into the integrity of the club's media team but I'm clinging to it. tbf those quotes don't sound very Rafa-esque =\ not bricking it yet but definitely prairie-dogging it. Read 'club' as 'cloob' and you'll feel a lot better mate. Works.
  10. Christ, there goes my lunch.
  11. Jesus, can't wait until Dulwich hamlet break into the premier league, I can see some of you unable to go to games because football has become too real ale, too welcoming. It's a fucking flag celebrating the diversity of our support and it is fucking great. Makes me proud. God forbid there are any flags for other sections of our support flown, Wallsend mags, no need, Alnwick mags, sickening, Irish mags, shit the bed. It is not imposing anything on you. Embrace it or not, it is a flag to support the team and does not make you gay or a subject of ridicule by association.
  12. Pffft. Found a decent page to keep track of Prem clubs activity this summer. https://www.premierleague.com/news/397434
  13. This is extremely hypothetical and extremely unlikely. But surley if you want to sell the club finishing as high up the table would be priority as more of an attraction. Like selling a house people shove a dormer on or finish them to a high standard to make more at the end of the sale. You still have to throw a few quid in to make a few quid. Ashley wont skrimp if he is sellling, (dont get me wrong)by that i wouldnt think he would go over board. But he knows he will need to make the club attractive to buyers. With that I would hope it will be a normal season for Rafa as far as his aims for the season. The only scenario in which courting a buyer meant withholding signings from Rafa, would be if our new owners were a bunch of knackers wanting to bring in their own manager. So, yeah, surely not the case. Tbh I'm struggling to get excited by who we're being linked with anyway so on the assumption that the market just seems slow at the mo, I'll be more than happy to wait and see what other options we have up our sleeves.
  14. The Greek word for “host” is stratia and refers to heavenly bodies. In other words a host is comparable to the number of stars in the sky. Shit the bed!
  15. Time to MOVE ON. Same goes for Lejeune and that cock-tease Semedo.

  17. Ah, grand. Still the speculation is always a bit mental. We get excited by a player pulled from Alan Olivers behind who we barely know, and then it feels a massive let down when they move to some club we barely know. I guess as long as Rafa is happy going into the season, then job done.
  18. Not cool man. What happened? Rafa'll be fewmin'.
  19. A genuine sadness being a person I respect. Rest with the best Mr Bobin.
