  1. Not a great fan of the barcode thing, but you seem true of heart and your story tells of a man of rare and passionate character. Welcome aboard youngster, I expecting great things from you. Another dedicated soul to stand alongside and fight the good fight, and together we shall forever embrace the black and the white. Be forewarned though brother. If you ever talk of this 'Chelsea' again, the wrath of Tyneside shall fall like great Thors hammer at your door.
  2. Have faith in the plan, man. Roeder is just lulling you into a false sense of insecurity.
  3. It would be deeply upsetting if Roeder were to have a similar policy.
  4. Yup, currently undergoing a medical in the land that time forgot according to 'reports'.
  5. What what what!?!?! I'm shocked that we didn't take Geordie boy Steve Bruce's words to heart.
  6. What the ferk has that.... Christ, it's past four.... ohhhhhhhh............................................................ Go on Glenn, would you like to take a soda with that lemon........................ cos a broon'll take us doon. Howay yabollocks. Happy new year! bluebiggrin.gif
  7. Ok, given the circumstances thrown up during the game, can we not agree at least that it was NOT a good result then? That said, as Roeder notes, "It gives our supporters a night out and they love the cup as everyone knows in Newcastle". :celb2:
  8. The jibe at Redknapp is idiotic. Saying "ooo he's complaining about injuries when he's down to his last 18 fit players". Yeah Glenn, Portsmouth have an injury crisis too, but because they signed some players in the summer, it hasn't hit them as badly as ours has hit us. Maybe you want to think about that before you poke fun at him. You might also want to think about the fact that they're 10 points and 8 places above us. Indeed.
  9. http://www.poster.net/monty-python/monty-python-my-brain-hurts-4001113.jpg Gerrld I tells ya. laugh.gif
  10. I really hope he does get it right in this period, but I don't quite understand how he has earned your trust (and others faith) considering the signings he made at West Ham, or his efforts before and during the last transfer window. Fingers crossed like, but if you talk about getting your fingers burnt in the past, maybe setting your sights a little lower might not be a bad idea. /then when Ronaldinho does actually pop up we'll all be laughing. bluebiggrin.gif
  11. I will reserve my judgement until August 31st 2007. By then i will know more about Roeders ability to construct a good squad. BTW panic buying = Luque - now that could start a thread! You could say that Roeders only 'proven for the money' signing so far has been a panic buy. /A considerable panic buy it seems now that we know he spent just one frantic hour (after presumably being told of his availability) calling people up to find out about his character, before buying Sibierski.
  12. bluelaugh.gif This forum is great. They say laughing keeps you young. Keep 'em coming...... Even Souness could beat Chelsea in a cup game.
  13. Given!?!?! I thought we had already established tonight that he barely deserves a Caramac, never mind the captaincy. tongue.gif
  14. How can YOU say anyone is an idiot. Exactly; it would be a bit like... frolicking in a field full of daisies and buttercups. Oooff, I can feel the shock waves from that one. blueeek.gif [edited - just in case]
  15. How can YOU say anyone is an idiot. Any reason for YOU to make things personal?
  16. Jabbers on about buying Drogba before the game, what do you expect. He seems easily overawed. Yet again, his tactics and substitutions CAN be called into question. /Nothing kneejerk. Hope to fuck he learns.
  17. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y281/jessculture/christ_on_a_bike.jpg Can we go any lower?
  18. Just have to start playing decent football again, and challenge a nationally despised team.
  19. Take it easy Francis. Yes it's pretty cringeworthy, but at least it could be seen as marking us out as being a little more passionate than most. I'm certainly not bothered one bit what some Fulham or City supporter, thinks about us because of it.
  20. Orang yang membaantu penghidupan NUFC? Setia, gila secali, dan terlalu mabuk... munkin. /God only knows if that makes sense, sorry.
  21. Well I'm sold. Edit: Gah the zip file containing the tunes is broken. God has forsaken me. bluecry.gif Edit part duex: S'all good they have sent me them unzipped. Suck it Mike Judge, top idea for a good cause.
  22. Eh? Can you point out the quote that 'undermines' Shearer because I'm not getting that at all. He seems to be trying to be pretty diplomatic from where I'm standing. Although only hinted at in the interview, his point that the team needed to move away from purely focusing around Shearer was always fair (if slightly suicidal), and was something Robson also eventually struggled with. I just got the impression that he was talkin about shearer like he wasnt really anything special. "i played in europe at the highest level", is a kinda im more than he ever is or was attitude. I just think there is a bit of bitterness in what hes saying. at the same time tho the reporter did try and put the words in his mouth! Fair enough, there is certainly bitterness and regret that his drive to change things in his eyes fell on deaf ears, and I guess he is just clumsily saaying that his past glories as a player should mean that the team should have respected his ideas a bit more. Good to see that he recognises that he was hamstrung by being utter shite at handling his players.
