  1. The kind of numpty who moans about the former regime being "ousted" when in reality they sold the club to Ashley as quickly as possible, took the money, and ran to the bank, laughing. To be fair Fat Freddie was in hospital when it all went down and by the time he launched his own little salvage mission it was too late. Still hardly ousted by Ashley, was he? If anyone "ousted" Shepherd, it was Sir John Hall. Only someone with their head stuck well up their arse wouldn't know that.
  2. Brilliant news. The biggest waste of wages has gone. Just need to get Barton, Butt, Smith & Colo off the books now.
  3. No harm in Capello looking at him; wouldn't be doing his job properly if he didn't. End of the day Cappy has Becks in the squad and he plays in the Primary school soccer league.
  4. I'd rather we lost yesterday and not have the replay. Knowing our luck we'll get through after pens crippling the squad for the rest of Jan and play some top 5 team on fire away as per usual.
  5. That's it like, he's (Bates) got a month of negotiation before everyone bails out and prepares their bids for the summer instead. Wouldn't go past £2m for him, even that is a massive fee for someone out of contract in the summer, sure we'd had happily taken that for Owen this time last season. Really NUFC need to try and wrap this up early if we really are interested and get it below the £2m mark, if not let someone else take the gamble.
  6. Have to agree. If he was coming here I doubt they would have played him and cup-tied him before sending him off. Why? Does the cup matter to us? No.
  7. Along with LuaLua, Donaldson, Barton and Tozer. Wow, who we gonna have left? Just the 14 players that played today? Sheesh...I'm worried now.

It still leaves the way for the next owner to become a hero by scrapping it, or by keeping it and showing the money is going directly back in to the club on players. Either way win win for the new owners, which is what it was all about anyway, making NUFC a more sellable asset.
  9. Just as much chance as him leaving as well. What about Harper? He's certainly gone now. We'll all be gutted like but our long standing servant Geremi will also be out the door surely.
  10. He turned us down, even we weren't made enough to offer him those kind of mental wages.
  11. That's spot on, but I imagine the shirt will look nothing like that and be something horrific.
  12. What a massive cunt you are Joey, whatever you say about anyone else will never detract from that. Give me a self centred money waster like Oba Martins over a violent thug one step away from a life in prison any day of the week.
  13. A replament for Coloccini would cost £8m plus. No it wouldn't. In his best game so far he played like a £3m defender. David Rozenhal is a £3m defender man. In England he's (rozy) not even a £1m defender. Colo might be a £10m defender somewhere in Spain surrounded by class players, but here he's not worth a third for what we paid for him. Unless he plays like he did against Boro every game till the end of the season we could easily get a defender as good as him in this league for less than £3m

  15. Given the Ashley factor I would leave it till the summer at least, failure to get promotion will cost us a lot more than £10m and I doubt Ashley would see a problem replacing Coloccini with someone struggling to get into the Charlton defence or something. Basically aye. Rather not risk it with his track record.
  16. If we could get our money back we'd be mental not to do so, even a couple of mill less would just make too much sense considering the wages he's on. He'd certainly need replacing though, and i doubt Ashley has the mental capacity to see that through to a satisfactory conclusion.
  17. Oh what a sight it would be for Citeh to sign a new keeper in the winter window.

    Geremi

No, clearly he deserves to be in prison. Preferably one in a third world country with a questionable record on human rights. Playing for NUFC is the nearest thing in this Country. Well you'd think the way some of our footballers have treated the club.

    Geremi

He's the only player who can run and yet go backwards. He's not the worlds best footballer by any stretch of the imagination but he gets absolutely slated for no good reason. He has never done anything but go out there and give 100% (even if his 100% is not up to everyone's par) and been a model professional and yet gets tons of schtick. I just don't understand it. There are far worse footballers and professionals at this club that get no where near as many negative words attributed to them. Like who?
