Bloody Rooney is playing shite, he's dropped as of next game week to no doubt score hattricks galore.

I'd take Gomes and £5m. Big fan of Given, but that would be a great deal.

player who is raising his game so we can sell him and get some money back and buy somebody better next season.

Fulham vs Newcastle United 9/11/08 Pre-match thread
Dokko replied to Taylor Swift's topic in Football
I reckon i'd rather see Shola keep his place alongside Martins for this one, you can't drop in form players for a name, it effects moral big time. Owen on the bench to come on if needed. -
PS: Bates is a right cunt isn't he?

Magpies' Delph bid rejected Whites shun Newcastle's move for starlet Ken Bates has confirmed Leeds United rejected a recent bid from Newcastle United for starlet Fabian Delph. The 18-year-old Whites midfielder has attracted interest from Premier League clubs following a string of fine displays in his breakthrough season with the League One outfit. Arsenal have been constantly linked with a bid for the England Under-19 international, but chairman Bates says The Magpies have already made a move for the talented youngster. Amazed "I'm still amazed at a recent offer Newcastle made for Fabian," he told Yorkshire Radio. "I won't tell you the content of the fax we sent back but it did end the conversation. "It's inevitable if the team does well predatory upper league clubs will try their luck without success. "Fabian Delph will be moving to Premier League - but we hope he'll be moving with us via the Championship. "He signed a four-year contract until 2012 and he doesn't want to go anywhere." Rule out Meanwhile, Bates is refusing to rule out selling out-of-favour Bradley Johnson when the transfer window reopens in January. Johnson, who is currently enjoying a successful loan spell with Brighton, has been linked with Championship clubs QPR, Cardiff and Southampton "One of the clubs reportedly interested in Bradley couldn't do anything anyway," he continued. "Gary McAllister will look at where he feels he needs to strengthen and what players are surplus to requirements." ------------------------ Sorry if it's been mentioned before, i did try to do a search but the forum had a mental breakdown, but thankfully it only took 5 mins to post the topic so not all bad.

Loved the game, we were immense but Villa were poor. Until people learn Milner is not a winger but a central mid then he's never going to be effective and a promising career will pass him by. Massive massive result for us, to think if we had beat Sunderland or Hull, one more win would see us in 7th place, madness how tight the league is, a win at Fulham and the season will have turned itself on its head and we can look forward to picking up form and points taking us into a strong position in the New Year. Home form is critical imo with so many teams picking up wins and draws, keep that strong and away points being a bonus and the write off of a season won't pan out too bad. The other side of the coin is we can still go back down, but i like to think were moving now, beaten once in 5, and key players are coming back such as Jonas & Barton, while Owen is on the mend. Got a feeling a big team could go down this year, hope its not us, what a difference a game makes, my confidence is returning, no doubt its returning to the players too.

We should point and laugh at him, proper belly laughs everytime he touches the ball; god that would be off putting. Then big yays and claps when he fuks up. I'd end up killing someone if it were me. Lets break the little spotty twat.

Teabagging isn't an office game FFS.

And voicing ones opinion no matter how tedious on the internet isn't quite 'Journalism' either. That's why I'm writing for a magazine and getting the bit of paper that tells me important Glad you write down who takes sugar. There is no office Everyones Freelance on this. Can't even make coffee. Phft...

Ok Piers. Someone who can run at defenders through midfield, and someone who can protect the back four, allowing zoggy on the left, Jonas on the right, big man little man combo upfront, and that's if things at the club were sweet. Right now a sale is all am thinking about. Sorry if i didn't use any 'typical good Dutch Technique' clichés and list my Jan transfers, i've been at work all night not playing the new FM demo (sorry to use that, but that's exactly how you sound) Why do you have to attempt to patronize me at every avenue? Why can't you be mature enough to say "Ok this is what I think" instead you have to go with another old joke about how I study Journalism. And the fact that I noted a trait of a player that is very common in Dutch players, as it is the way they are trained as children its not a cliche, its a fact the majority of Dutch professional players have good technique as it is something well drilled in Holland. As for FM, I hardly think everyone of those is totally un-attainable and I was giving examples of the type of player we need, I did at no point say "these are what we must get". Read the title, and stop trying to look and big and clever in front of the other boys. It just makes you look stupid. Please list other times where i've 'patronized you' (very big word for you (deliberate there cupcake)) or had a pop at the old 'Journalism' please? May I ask what your profession is please? Professional piss artist. Jorunalist too then ha! But no come on whats your job? Computers. Here anyone know what the other song to Public Domain: Operation Blade was? They both got released at the same time, but there's another version, anyone know? (lost all my MP3's in a moment of technical stupidity)

He wasn't like, not unless you're in the camp of him being shite all along. Bernard was my favourite player after Shearer. Was mortified when he left. Think i'm just being harsh tbh, though i'm sure when he was first in the side he was pretty pap. Nearly went to West Ham n'all iirc. Roeder as well.
-
Bernard just makes me think about how fine the line is between succeeding as a footballer and failing. He made it, yet one bad career choice in terms of contracts ended it. Imaging what it must be like lower down?

You obviously didn't go to the Mike Ashley School Of Football. I didn't have the funds to. That's alright, you don't have to spend any money anyway. You do realise he put about £200m of his own cash into Newcastle don't you? a) And now he's screwing us over until he gets it back with massive interest b) I wasn't seriously suggesting that Yorkie-Geordie buys Newcastle United Shame, its the the most logical step.

You should write for the Daily Star. (I apologise if you already write for the Sun)

Half the board wanted him gone last season, now he's a NUFC legend.
