My fears over this summer is not having a ready squad for the 1st game of the season. The lack of transfer activity in the early stages is as much to blame as the injuries. Instead of hitting the ground running, we will be playing catchup, again, as per fuking usual, but its no surprise, it really isn't. Absolutely TT, you and I and a few others we're banging on about this early close season, but we were shouted down as being impatient Stop crying. Its a crying shame we were right to have concern, i know that will sting a lot of people. Last month of the window, half a team, season kicks off in less than two weeks, its not looking good, lets hope another Fab C type (quality) is around the corner in the positions we need (striker & AMC) then we could be in for an interesting season ahead. But thats a massive asking considering what has happened (or not) so far.

Indeed, much bigger and better strikers in the Prem for him to come up against but still showed a good reading of the game, good strength and pace, can tackle too. I'll take any pre-season positives right now.

tbh since we've not been getting for the moment players or youth players i'm not too bothered if we have a manager who at least adresses one of those problems. Also KK hasn't been the one bringing in players close to the 30 mark.

KEVIN KEEGAN is banking on a new slim-line Jose Enrique to be a hit this season after the Spaniard completed 90 minutes against Real Mallorca last night. Its a shame that there is no substance in this takeover talk, because i'd like to see a billionaire in charge who likes to spend his money.
