  1. Was just an example, but tbh, if he hasn't seen him play then he has no business in managing a premiership football club. I'm sure he knows who he is, he just doesn't want to take a chance, i think we should, it can't harm us much.
  2. How has it been half arsed? I don't see any much needed players through the door, do you? KK restricts himself to UK shores only knowing for a fine fact nee fukers going to sell at a decent rate. We CAN afford to pay over the odds for the right players, we can't afford not too, having no Europe next season will cost the club greatly when again going for transfers in the summer. We also needed some players in to give the club a lift, players, fans, backroom staff alike, and we need to fill some important positions so we can at least push on and possibly get a backdoor passage in to Europe for next season. None of that will happen unless we get a few bodies in. The quality is out there, we should take a chance on some European targets and see what happens, i'm sure there are a lot of people quite happy to see Arshavin in and let him settle in to English football during this write off season, it could of worked well, but now we will never know. Quite disappointed in this transfer window, and it will be the same in the summer due to the club losing even more appeal after another bum year.
  3. The half arsed attempt by the club in this window suggests more of the same in the next.
  4. Can't be right, SHIRLEY. Fucking hope not. 'You'll have to ask Mort when he gets back on wednesday, all i'm concentrating on is the Arsenal game.' Taken totally out of context I can only assume. If that interview was at negotiation stage, KK is going to deflect the question isnt he. Worst mistake in Newcastle's history if Mort has done it without his knowledge and if so then Mort deserves to have his head stamped on by every person within a 100 mile radius. I just cant believe that it woudl be done without KK's knowledge. Same here, KK obviously wants him in or he wouldn't be there. They are not going to bring KK in on £5m a year and then piss him off after two weeks, no chance.

  6. Is it DOF or no2? I hopes its No2 tbh, would be a great appointment, as DOF i'm not sure due to the role, but hold no judgement on him, one things for sure, he knows his football and he done well as a manager so far.
  7. Agreed, just hit back with the Munich song Nice. Only got themselves to blame For singing football songs? Yep, same as they do about Hillsborough Anyone singing songs about people dying is a bit of a fuking twat, that's up to them to do so, not us. I personally wouldn't stoop to their level, or Liverpool's or West Ham's (brain tumour) I feel i'm classier than that. (and there's not much i can say that about tbh)

  10. Did an even better job at Millwall & Swindon.
  11. Dabo could be set for City exit French midfielder frustrated by lack of opportunities Ousmane Dabo may be set to join a Serie A side after falling out of favour at Manchester City. http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/160/punchbagxl5.jpg The midfielder arrived at City in 2006 having spent five years in Italy with Vicenza, Atalanta and Lazio. He has found first-team football hard to come by at the City of Manchester Stadium and has made just one substitute appearance in the Carling Cup for the club this season. As a result, the French midfielder could be allowed to leave before the transfer window closes with Siena and Fiorentina believed to be leading the race for his signature.
  12. End of the day Wise is a rising talent, and that's through results only as that's the only part we see. Maybe there's something else off the pitch which makes him stand out even further and that's why were after him. Its clear there's something KK likes about him, so lets see what happens, it really doesn't effects our lives, Leeds fans should be the ones pissed off about this not us.
  13. 'Blades burst City's balloon' The funniest part of this whole drama (soz speccy) is the fans reaction to the goal being conceded, not only the obvious disbelief, but you could see it dawning on them that it was in fact their own fault the goal went in. Priceless.
  14. What the frig's that noise they keep playing at the Bernabeu? The public announcer is playing on his DS and left the mic on.
  15. Barca really are on a downer again. (Correct me if i'm wrong on any of this) Deco not happy, not getting enough games, turning up late to training. Ronaldinho not happy, become complacent, also missed training sessions etc... Zambrotta's wife is homesick and he wants to leave. Henry reportedly not settled in Spain either. Talk of Rijkaard getting sacked at the end of the season. There's probably a lot more that i don't know about on top of all that.
  16. Think we'll make a last minute, take it or leave it bid for him. £8 mill tops. Just what you need, Downing that is. Looks like Kewell's off the menu then.
  17. So when do we get Martins back?
  18. Aye, i bet he smashed his TV over his head when the result came though on Sky Sports.
  19. I think with so many team fighting not to get the last spot (i think Derby & Fulham are certain now) i reckon something as low as 34-36pts would see you clear of relegation. I also reckon 18pts out of our remaining fixtures is what we will get.
  20. Milner & Owen are fast...if they were in a slug race, on the pitch playing football, neither lack any real place i'm afraid, and one of them's entire career was built around that and its gone.
  21. Nah, just rested. Should play on Thursday. Not what I'm hearing. 'A few weeks on the sidelines'. Itk's are full of rubbish tbh. Well said (especially spuds ones)
  22. I think there are a lot of myths surrounding KK and his NUFC sides and being tactically inept is one of the biggest myths. As you said, you don't get to be 12 points clear of the Premiership in your 4th season in management if you don't understand football. Keegan does, perhaps better than people are willing to give him credit for. He just doesn't really care much for tactics or puts much faith in them and with good reason. People trump up the likes of Mourinho as a tactical mastermind yet once those players cross that white line, tactics can go straight out of the window in one split second. Remember Mourinho putting on 3 subs against us in the FA Cup only to go down to 10 men due to injury? That's the split second I'm referring too. Look at Benitez, regarded as a superb tactician yet he constantly fucks up on a regular basis hence Liverpool's inconsistency. In football good players coached right in the right kind of environment on a consistent basis will win the day far more than tactics ever will or can. Tactics are important don't get me wrong and Keegan isn't too hot in this area compared to others, but tactics are side issues and always will be over more important criterias. Anyway, the two best managers in the country, Fergie and Wenger, are not master tacticians and neither was Sir Bobby Robson. We'll be OK and I can't think of a safer pair of hands to place our club into than Keegan's. We all just have to be a little patient and trusting. I think KK would not harm himself if he employed and up and coming tactician from the continent just to bounce some ideas off and suggest things he would not think of. I worry about this a lot about KK, like it or not the prem is becoming more like Serie A every year that passes due to foreign influence, but that doesn't mean we can't strike a decent balance between both styles of football.
