Man Utd reject Newcastle bid for Wes Brown - SSN
Dokko replied to WarrenBartonCentrePartin's topic in Football
We'll not see until after the ANC, so for now i guess he's a RB if he comes in. Beye, Feye, Geremi all gone, it leave Carr, Carr FFS, Brown coming in would be diamond keeping that prick out of the 1st team. -

£2m would be a great buy for Brown, better than anything we've got. Hope we get Ben Haim on loan as well to cover for the ANC. We'd certainly be more solid with both of them in our squad. -

Do you really believe that? He's said it on separate occasions, i cannot see why he would lie.

Hasn't watched a game of football since leaving Man City, how on earth do you expect him to be a good judge of talent, he'll have no clue who's about. Lost his passion for the game, doesn't care enough for all the shit that goes with it anymore, quite happy doing his soccer circus.

http://www.sxc.hu/pic/m/b/br/brokenarts/435178_razor_blade.jpg Really you have nothing to say on the matter, that's the problem, there's nothing there you can really argue with. Oh I could, but it seems you're so far down the manic depressive stage, you've convinced yourself everything and everyone connected with Newcastle United is not good enough or not going to come good. Will Ashley still be looking to sell up if things don't turn sooner, eh? Are you saying that its not a possibility he might just decide its not worth it? Now I have nothing to say. Speechless tbh. First time in a while too. So am good for something then.

I think you are right, he's lost the plot. He's turned into Souness/Roeder and can't get himself out of it. But why should we tolerate any more of his shite? He's not good enough in this form and were the ones that yet again are suffering, he's chasing the pay off, he'll get sacked and he won't be seen again.

Hmm, I thought that Geremi was promising to begin with so all the more disappointing. Enrique, one for the future surely...?! Geremi had a good pre season, then it fell apart, hasn't done much since, its criminal to think he's our captain, i'd rather have Parker back. Enrique might be one for the future, but i reckon his future lies back in Spain and he can't wait to get back and end this miserable chapter of his life. Spanish players & NUFC do not mix, lets not do it again.

Viduka is not worth his wages, dread to think how much we paid him to actually sign on. Barton is a £6m write off. Cacapa is a much a liability as any defender we've had over the last 5 years. Rozenhal is average at best, not good enough for us. Geremi was free for a reason. Smith would of been good for free, but for £6m i feel like crying. Enrique never gets used and so is another £6m waste of money, this one has a touch of the Luque's about it. Faye - Good player, worth the money shame about the injuries. Beye - His best signing, settling in nicely. To think Beye & Feye nearly didn't go through, it was only at the last minute.

It would be worth £5m loss to sack him and hold his registration for 4-5 years and ruin his career. I'm sure if we asked nicely a few other clubs would chip in to settle some of the bill for us. How can we sack him, i.e. cancel his contract, and hold his registration for 4-5 years exactly? Chelsea did that to Mutu, and were fully supported by the FA and FIFA. Juventus had to fork out a transfer fee. For 4-5 years? And he tested positive for a banned substance, i.e. cocaine. Time really doesn't matter, they held onto it until Juve paid up, which they had to in the end whether they liked it or not. I think being imprisoned, not once but possibly twice could be enough to get the support of whoever we need to carry out such an extreme action, afterall they always bang on about footballers being role models, and i'm sure Sepp Blatter wants him jailed, us fined and English football cancelled for whats happened.
-
Don't worry, Peter Kay is looking after him.

Hope he's crying in his porridge, what an utter bastard he is. One player who fully deserves to be booed to shit if he ever plays for this club again. Calling us vicious, fuking prick.

Martins hasn't improved under Sam, in fact he's probably worse off under his new manager, says a lot about SA for me, he's the one we need to get rid of as he's managed to destroy our main hope from last season by chopping and changing, not giving him a proper run in the team unless golden boy is injured, and certainly hasn't offered anything to his game. Shit managers can't bring out the best in people, we've got a shit manager.

A big factor in the way Bolton finished was the fact that they all knew Allardyce was leaving. Fergie, and Sir Bobby IIRC, showed that once the players know/think a manager is on his way out it serioulsy impacts the performances and results. But they didn't know he was leaving, the time from where he first announced to actually being allowed to leave was less than a week, and it spanned one game, so that really is irrelevant.

I agree. Regards, Me

Well, a manager's past performance and record could suggest how able they are to turn it round. But there's nothing concrete I admit. But their last year of managerial experience doesn't count if its bad. Oh dear, again putting words into my mouth. In his last year at Bolton he finished 7th. That's what's important, not his record in just 2007 But what's also important is how he's finished his last season, very badly. A good start to this season has seen us gain some very valuable points, only this time the wheels fell off early, he couldn't turn it round at Bolton in the final few months, and thats a good indication for me how he's going to fair here with 1000% more pressure on his back. I'll say this one last time and then I'm off. You claim it's important how he finished his last season but is it not more important where he finished in his last season? Yes it is, simple as that. And, he couldn't "turn it around" because Bolton had a small squad and not a great deal of strength in depth, which wasn't his fault considering the small budget he was given. So anything he does good is his doing, anything bad is someone else fault? Where he finished, well he didn't quite finish as he quit at the last hurdle, is important, and why he's here, i'm not saying its not, but the form of the man himself in 2007 is extremely poor, and the form is over a full year, its not 10 games or so, it just makes you wonder if his style isn't working anymore.

As much as i think SA has lost it, it would be pointless to go for anything other than a long term manager. If we were to do that though, it should be about giving Shearer a chance rather than some old bloke doing his bow out.

What 5 months? Sorry for narrowing it down like. Why not pick a five months when he was doing well? Makes no sense. Its the last year of his managerial career, and its not going too well is it. Calendar year. Luckily football seasons don't tally. Lucky for Sam. So you admit it means nothing then? Seeing as nobody looks at it that way. Who says it means nothing simply because is calender and not season? It shows a manager out or sorts over a period of the last year. Do we have to wait until May for that to register amongst people? Who the hell would put on his CV 'Well we finished in a shit position, but for the last five months of the year we were ace.'? Managers are judged on seasons. Yet so many are sacked only months into them. If so, then only because they are sacked by idiotic chairmen. No doubt, 90% of the time that is correct.
-
And that'll get him the sack anyway iyam. EVERYBODY'S 'APPY! Not really, another year wasted, several million no doubt wasted. And if we sack Allardyce now things will be different? Depends who we get and how completely lost internally the club is with him, which from where am standing looks pretty terminal. Give over man, it'll be another period of transition whilst he gets in his own staff and players. It'll be written off either way. It should of been about progression, this is borderline regression.
