Having your opinion by belittling others is exactly that. "People tearing down their live, laugh, love signs" is what exactly? It's degrading someone into a category usually associated with common, uneducated, or tacky - all because they think differently to you. Please let me know what you'd call that. If it's not gate keeping or gaslighting, your intent is there and it's clear you think you are better than those people and they shouldn't think like that.

Motivation is, if the issue is Howe, he knows whst he needs to do. If the issue is the players, and they want Howe to stay, then they know what thry need to do. It's a reasonable run in bar arsenal away. It should have started last weekend, it hasn't and our ceo has called them out on it. I'm all for it as nothing else has worked this season.

@Dr.Spaceman literally posts above.

On here? Every day.

The gate keeping of people's emotions on football and gaslighting them to feel inferior is something I've never got my head around.
-
He's not the same like. Something is different. Always be a legend here (like at Bournemouth) but there's a shelf life before they become the villain, especially in football..
-
I do wonder if he's actually decided to step down and why the season is derailed. Ever since he comments about not being here for the stadium I've wondered if he's ran out of steam or has something else he wants to do. Players pick up on that.

3 weeks unbeaten. Zero goals conceded.

I get that, see my reply above. It's moments in time. That aside. The season as a whole has been shite, and he has as the manager to accept it, thats the role he gets paid for.
-
Well it does happen for both arsenal and Liverpool. Bet it happens for barca and Madrid. It's called passion. It's might be temporarily misplaced but it happens. To say otherwise is bollocks. Those flash moments aside, it's the dire season that has people questioning his position, the derbies are just that moment in time pressure points. He will be judged at the end of the season, he has 7 games to save his Newcastle career and it's deserved.
-
I hate the 'I'm too hip to be bothered about the derby' crowd. Complete lies, plastic fans or absolute goons.
-
He's been put on an action plan.
-
Basically qualify for Europe or you're gone, which is what I've been saying is their thoughts all season long. He's on borrowed time with them, and fighting for his position. This is about as clear as a warning shot you'll get, and it's very fair. He's been terrible this season, regardless of how much you love him, it's been a car crash and the majority of that will always lie at the managers feet whether anyone likes it or not. Let's see what he can do. Should have all his players back now. He needs to get wolt or Wissa firing. Gordon upfront can't continue as it shows we've wasted the isak money and that's not a good look.
-
Wissa heading to Saudi. Triple his wage and we get our money back - is my guess.
-
Yup.. Could have had him for £11m. Doubt he's worth that kind of fee (release)
-
Sounds like a Tonali problem, not ours. Best get his arse on the pitch and playing well if he wants his move. Mind, we had a fin few months of 5/10 Isak and still got a good price for him.
-
They paid £85m for maguire 5ish years ago. We can grt £120m for him from them.
-
I'd give Elanga another season. Then release Murphy in 27 and spend the kitty on a rw if Elanga doesn't step up.
-
I'd sell Tonali (in and out of form), livra (too injury prone) & Gordon (high stock, the right time) and tie down Bruno and Hall. We'll not get a better leader than Bruno with his quality and there aren't many lbs better than hall. Replace Gordon with a proper striker, Tonali with a proper defensive midfielder and tino with 2 right backs of similar quality to also replace trippier. We'd be such a better balanced team without spending. Whatever we've got go in the bank spend it on a backup lb, young lw and the best goalkeeper we can attract.
-
He believed like most, Livrael were going to walk the league and pick up a couple of trophies along the way. Might not even end up with CL at this rate. Big injury, not being 1st choice, whole country needling him and laughing. Aye, I can see why he wants to move on, and we know he'll make it happen. The club might just have to accept its failures, lose £50m on him and move forward. Thry need to replace salah and won't get a fee for him, so need a big chunk coming from somewhere.
-
Save us ksa, you're our only hope.
-
This is the issue though. He'll want to keep half of them. Pope stays with another year on his contract. Think the club will take Ramsdale out of his hands and go get another. He'll want burn and tripps to stay for experience. Krafth for cover which doesn't demand to play. Targett will go, his choice and Howe didn't want him anyway. He loves Murphy so he's staying, probably a new deal. Willock he'll cash in for if anyone will take him. He won't admit failings on Elanga and Wissa. He'll want them another year. Woltemade won't fetch what we paid, so unless it's a loan to buy, we're stuck with him for a while.

A lot. When you've come from Steve Bruce, even more so. But it's a results and entertainment business, and neither of those things are happening, at least not together or for very long. If I could wave a magic wand - he stays, we recruit well in the summer, we sell equally as well and we start to see progression again. But for me, it takes a magic wand for thst to all happen.
-
Really? It didn't feel like thst for me at the time. I think he believed his relationship with him would keep him here.
