  1. 100% saved us from relegation. 100% got us from that level to mixing it with the established lot and without doubt won us a cup, and none of that can be forgotten. But what we've seen since the cup, and tbh, quite a lot of it in the league when managing the 1st CL campaign, is far cry from the team which he cobbled together in those early days, and improved on after. It's been backward steps for a long time now, and the cup win being an anomaly amongst it. The club have let him down. I've said that on here more than most. Isak situation was ridiculous, but he thought he could keep him, and in the end, only added to the problems leaving us selling at the end of the window and taking desperate punts on replacements. Again, you can argue he shouldn't have been in thst position, and I'd agree, however, he'd argue thst he prefers that level of control, and that then goes back to him. I'm not even sure how much the board are invested into the club beyond growing its financial profile, but a serious club wouldn't have allowed the summer gone, or the 2 winter windows either side. It also wouldn't allow for the huge dip in quality on the pitch, or allow a manager to have such a hold over the club. It starts at the top, and the top have been non existant for some time now, and although they apparently have the people in place, I've zero confidence in any decision they make on recruitment or manager, and the likes of infrastructure conversations are laughable. Really do wish they'd fuck off and have someone who's primary objective in life is the club, not funneling oil money into vanity projects depending on which day of the week it is.
  2. 1st half was barely a performance. 2nd half was disgusting. Cba with the hurt patter coming out of the camp. It's disingenuous. If it hurt as much as it should, they'd have never disgraced themselves with that level of incompetence. Time for major surgery. We won't have much choice with our best players seeking alternative clubs; those clubs who have it in them to make big decisions, and in a timely manner. Too much sentiment in thr team sheet and backroom staff to ever be elite. Hopkins on has hinted at some large and unpopular decisions coming. I think it's going to be brutal or he'll be another one which leaves as you can't get anything done due to the power struggle that exists.
  3. This is why his time here has come to an end. Bournemouth fans still love him for whst he's done, but most will agree they are now better off without him, and have move up a level. We'll always be grateful for what he's done here, but we need to attain the next level and for me, he can't do it. Whether we have if in us to find the next level manager needed is another argument, but that shouldn't detract from the situation we have now, and that is he's taking us backwards and has done so for the last year. It's not kneejerk, it's not disloyalty, it's facing up to the truth of the situation, and some cannot handle it due to the love for him. I get that as well. But where has sentiment got you in football?
  4. Na. I'm expecting a massive performance from us. 3-0. Then onto a good run in and finish 7th. All starts here. Nothing else to play for but the league and this is easily the most important game left. Fuck this and it's wholesale changes in the summer, but we won't. We'll be right up for this like no other home game this season.
  5. Even Sissoko cringed at that.

Does anyone ever wonder what happened to the strippers they've seen over the years? Like, did they settle down. Find love. New career. Do I pass them in the street. Where do they go? Might just be me.
  7. I'll bet you my account on here (against Froggy's) Bruno G doesn't sign for manure in the summer. Loser is deleted.
  8. Been quite at peace with it all and looking forward to Sunday. Stupid I know.
  9. Bloody hope so. Think him, Ramsey and Joelinton would have been a good 3 for this game.

Osula & Wolt unfront for the rest of the season, with wolt linking up the mid through the centre and Osula running out wide to chase and bring him into play. 2 in mid, since we don't have many options atm and allows to keep our width. Or we can play Gordon either side of him and Osula the other, drop the wide wingers as we don't have anyone in the box anyway. 3 in mid, with willock and Ramsey playing that mid come wider role for some width and a Joelinton / Bruno in the middle for positional discipline.
  11. Don't think we'll miss Tonali. He'd just be giving the ball back to them at every opportunity. Rather have Miley available. Shame about Bruno though.
  12. Should have shut up shop when thr 4th went in. Think he believes far too much in the players and thought they'd turn it around, but the reality is, some are just not good enough. We need a massive clear out. My fear is he wil want to keep hold of players who we've outgrown, like when we extended Lacelles, dummet and Ritchie. We need to move on.
  13. Reet. Thsts out the way. No excuses from here. We need to win 5 of our last 8. Starting Sunday.
  14. As long as he isn't buying the players, aye.
  15. Not buying this lessons learned chat. It's bollocks. We don't learn our lessons. We've seen that all season and more. Move on though. Big game on Sunday.
  16. Cancelling my Spotify subscription after this. Fuck em.
  17. Terrible management, sorry. 4th goes in we needed subs. Tighten it up and stop this thumping. Instead just plough on like nowts happened. Oh now subs. Too fucking late.
