  1. Judging by their efforts for home match we can probably expect about 2 Birmingham fans at those prices. Weren't the brums charging £28 per ticket?
  2. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=440058&CPID=8&clid=21&lid=2&title=Curbs+makes+Ben+Haim+move Ben Haim out of contract in the summer. Classy defender, surprised Chelsea are not having a look. £3m would certainly secure him for Chelsea, probably a lot less for anyone else.
  3. Probably. Good temp signing for them.
  4. £3m i reckon. Jose's plan to keep building us up before leaving Chelsea to takeover is going smoothly.
  5. Cardiff have been excellent at times in this game, hope they get the win.
  6. oh dear. http://www.readytogo.net//smb/showthread.php?t=182437 tbh
  7. For free & no more than £30kpw, anything else is not worth it.
  8. I wonder if Liverpool getting dumped out of the FA cup has anything to do with the shitty protest at the start of the match?

    Today's FA Cup Games

What a shame eh? Gutted tbh. During the 6mins nobody wanted the ball, you could tell its what everyone was thinking, it really put the players off on both sides, then when it stopped Liverpool went at it, but probably too much and nothing came of their chances. Liverpool then just stopped playing, and Arsenal took over. Which ever way you look at it the protest has played with Liverpools heads. They never start like that, they never rush like direct fools, its always build up.

Arsenal 2 Liverpool 0 I think the protest really stopped the game from starting, and really hasn't done any good for the minds of the Liverpool players.

    Titus rumour

id rather have my body in working order than a load of money!it would cushion the blow but i still feel sorry for him if true It will just mean he wont play football again surely. He's up and walking, and were not talking small sums of money either. Dean Richard walked away with about £4m IIRC for 3 years at 32, Titus is only 24, and with ten years left on probably the same wage. I'd quite happily have my testicles cut off for that kind of money. all i can say to that then is.... fair enough!lol Am sure he'll miss football, but his choice is, play for us and be hounded, mocked and ridiculed by 52,000 fans every week or take your £10m+ to Beverly Hills and go live amongst the rich and famous. (if thats his cup o tea, which am sure it is) Bit of a toughy. but your testicles??? £10m for my testicles? I cant see why not, fair trade. Am sure wor lass wouldn't be arsed in the slightest!

Still believe there is a player in there, just a dumb guy holding him back. Pearson needs to be allowed to work his magic on him, and have him in a team with decent fullbacks then we'd see a much better Bramble. I know its me mates mates stuff, but everyone laughed at that guy with Bernard saying he'll never play a game, and he was right, so if true, its a damn shame unless we have him insured for the £5m we paid and contract length is irrelevant

We wouldn't get any compensation, so its not good news for us. Bramble will probably get paid a fuking nice tidy sum, at least ten years wages, so i wouldn't feel to sorry for him if true. But, would like to see him sign a contract unless we replace him this window, which i doubt we will.
  16. Wouldn't of happened if we had made a proper plan and signed some defenders Seriously though, we now need bodies even more quickly, we've now another game to play, just exactly what we didn't need.
  17. Fuk me, canny goal. Although he was given way too much space
  18. They would be crazy to reject £17m for him. That's what most people in Germany (including the majority of Bayernfans) say as well. But Bayern don't particularly need the money (they have more than 100m Euro in their bank accounts). The reason why they rule out any transfers is rather symbolic IMHO. They want to show that they are not European lightweights who can be messed around with by other big clubs or their own players. Their director of football (Hoeneß) only recently said that they want to show that you have to honour your contract with Bayern if you just had agreed an extension. Fair enough, its a pride thing, but keeping a unhappy half injured player while being offered probably 75% more than whats he's worth fit and focused would be crazy in anyones eyes, even Chelsea. I think they will sell, maybe Bayern need to soften the blow with Emre, or someone bigger coming in, then they can take victory on financial and the footballing side of things. I do agree (I've only slightly corrected the price for you...), but I am not sure if Bayern will really sell, especially not in the winter with the big games against Real Madrid looming. The WC certainly does that to players. Who have they been playing instead of him, and have they been doing a good job? It really only effect NUFC if Bayern really want Emre, at £7-8m i hope they do, we could do with the money, and its always nice to actually make a profit on a player for once. There has been nothing in Germany suggesting that Bayern are in fact interested in Emre that I am aware of tbh. So it looks a bit like another fabricated tabloid rumour to me. Bayern have a couple of players who can play as defensive midfielders. They mostly used Ottl, a young player from their own academy who was doing quite well for them. But they also have Demichelis or van Bommel who can play a similar role. Shame, would of liked a big money move for Emre. Didn't realise they had MVB, thought he was still at Barca!

  22. I watched this yesterday and i was speechless... And he is only 17 Do you think Babayaro or Carr can do that with a ball  I reckon Babayaro could give him a good run for his money, but you'd probably have to pay him £30,000 to get his arse off the grass to have a go. Carr would John Smith 'Avvv it!'

    Aaron Hughes

Aaron Hughes just burst onto the scene, was a decent footballer, fitted in anywhere, although he was never going to be a world beater, i always thought he'd be here for years doing a job and doing it well. But he never got any better. From that moment he burst onto the scene, he was practically the same footballer as the one that left. Now it sounds like he's just got worse. Shame, canny lad, and always thought we were stupid to sell him, but maybe not so now.
  24. If Chelsea offered £10m, Charlton would snap there hands off. Injured for 5 weeks, verge of relegation, manager who needs funds. Deal would be done within a couple of days as Charlton can maybe spend wisely and get some decent players in before the window closes. If Charlton recieve that money, and put it towards the £6m they've apparently got this window, Pardew could possibly rescue the club, just maybe.
  25. What intelligent questions are they? UV never asked a question, just picked holes in my brief explanation, none of which was worth replying too. As for you, got no idea what you were on about tbh, i find it hard to read your posts for some reason, especially when you ask a question.
