I think we'll see 9/11 same player with 7/11 playing in the same positions but 11/11 playing with a different intensity and energy following a totally different game plan. I expect that from the off. It's when we get to difficult periods in the game whether we revert back to old and Howe manages that with subs and touchline interaction.

He went through phases here of being total dogshit, a slightly faster Matt Ritchie. But like Matt Ritchie he has spells which were great and literally kept the club in the league. Great person though, and for me that's where it counts.

Howe is not a miracle worker but you’d love to see some kind of upturn in his form, even just for the lad himself who has totally destroyed his career by coming here. Even if it’s just to get him to the level that someone in the 2nd tier of nations takes a chance on him and he goes off to be a decent sized fish in a medium pond.

Just needed some attention from Rafa, rather than ditching. I think the main problem wasn't his hot headedness but his lack of ability to follow instructions. Any player who did their own thing under Rafa was ditched. Some players want to do their own thing, others can only do it limited by their footballing intelligence and Mitro falls under the latter. Whether that can be coached out of him or whether you make some exceptions is down to the quality of the manager, which I did assume could handle a Mitro.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that he did meet someone called Kate at a protest. If they are that involved to create accounts like Kate then they'll easy hire an actor to legitimise it at a crucial time.

Even if they go up they're fucked. They'll soon get sick of stinking up the bottom of the Championship and the fans will turn on their owner for not spending enough. If anyone half decent was to come to the NE to play championship football then the go to Boro who are lightyears ahead of them and who themselves are nowhere near PL ready. It'll at least be a decade long absence from top flight for them, tbh I reckon it'll be at least 2 as their new owner doesn't seem to be interested in making waves or they'd be doing everything they can to keep the academy viable and harness it for their future.

Unfortunately the perils of existing in a tin pot league. Rangers & Celtic only matter to 1 city. Soon as a decent offer comes in from mid table teams in the prem players, coaches and managers are away. Even their own fans and club would move across to the prem if they could.
